Spain beat Belgium 2-1 on Friday — another late Mikel Merino winner, this time after Belgium's goalkeeper Lammens spilled a shot in the 88th minute. Spain join France in the semifinals. The bracket is taking its final shape and today gives us the two most compelling matches of the entire tournament. Kane vs Haaland. Messi vs Switzerland. Four of the best players of their generation on the pitch simultaneously fighting for a World Cup semifinal place. Messi is on eight goals — tied with Mbappé at the top of the Golden Boot race. Haaland is on seven. Kane is on six. Bellingham has five goal contributions. The individual narrative has never been richer. And today, the prop markets reflect it.
🏴 Norway vs England 🇳🇴 — 5:00 PM ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens FL
To Advance: England -230, Norway +184. Moneyline: England -115, Draw +260, Norway +320.
England are slight favorites but this is genuinely one of the closest matchups of the entire knockout stage. Kane has described Haaland as "a beast" and expressed hope for "a quiet day" from the Norwegian. England's biggest boost — Declan Rice, Marc Guehi, and Reece James all returned to training after injury and illness concerns. Norway's weakness, per multiple expert sources, is their defense — they have allowed 14.7 shots and 4.75 shots on target per match, making them the most generous defensive side remaining in the tournament. Norway have scored eight goals in the group stage and reached five goals in every single group game. The Over has hit in all their matches. This match will have goals.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Erling Haaland anytime scorer +120 — Seven goals in four appearances. The most dangerous striker left in the tournament. He scored the winning goal against Brazil in the final minutes of regulation and scored twice against Ivory Coast. England's center backs will be tested physically like they haven't been all tournament. Haaland accounts for 60% of Norway's shots on target and has scored in every game he has played at this World Cup. This is the standout prop of the afternoon.
⚽ Harry Kane anytime scorer +155 — Six goals in the tournament, rescued England against DR Congo with a late two-goal salvo, then scored the decisive penalty against Mexico. England's talisman in every match. Against Norway's leaky defense allowing 4.75 SOT per game, Kane will get chances. His movement off the ball creates space that Norway's center backs haven't had to deal with all tournament.
⚽ Jude Bellingham anytime scorer +180 — The match winner against Mexico with a brace. Five goal contributions in this tournament at a remarkable age. His late runs from midfield are England's most dangerous weapon — against Norway's chaotic defensive structure he will find space in behind the defensive line on multiple occasions.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Harry Kane 2+ shots on target +105 — The single best shots prop value on today's board. Kane is averaging 4.8 shots and 2.5 shots on target per 90 at this World Cup. Norway allow 4.75 SOT per match — the leakiest defense remaining in the tournament. Getting plus money on Kane's shots on target is extraordinary. Expert analysis from OddsShark specifically backs this prop as their top play for the match.
🎯 Haaland 2+ shots on target +140 — Averaging 3 SOT per game and has reached that mark in two of four appearances. England's center backs will face a physically dominant striker who attacks the penalty spot relentlessly. Even if England defend well, Haaland will generate volume.
🎯 Over 2.5 goals -115 — Norway have gone Over in every single match of this tournament. They have allowed 14.7 shots per game — the most generous defense remaining. England have scored 3-4 goals in every knockout win. The Over is the most structurally supported bet in today's first match — SI Betting expert specifically recommends this today.
🇦🇷 Argentina vs Switzerland 🇨🇭 — 8:00 PM ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City MO
To Advance: Argentina -350, Switzerland +265. Moneyline: Argentina -150, Draw +255, Switzerland +490.
The closing act of the quarterfinals and arguably the most compelling individual narrative in all of sport right now. Lionel Messi, 39 years old, with eight goals in five World Cup matches — tied at the top of the Golden Boot race. He has three or more shots on target in three of five games with an average of 3.73 per 90. He has scored in EVERY SINGLE MATCH he has started at this tournament. Messi scored a hat trick against Switzerland in a friendly in 2012 — history could rhyme. Switzerland are well-organized under Granit Xhaka and reached their first quarterfinal since 1954 — but they created just 0.39 xG against Colombia and their attacking threat is significantly diminished with Manzambi OUT. The Over has gone in eight of Argentina's last nine games.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Lionel Messi anytime scorer -115 — The most backed prop at this entire World Cup. Eight goals in five matches at age 39. Scored in every match he has started. Tied for the Golden Boot lead and hunting Mbappé. SI Betting expert specifically recommends Messi anytime scorer as their top prop for tonight. The question is not whether he scores — it's whether you lay -115 for the privilege.
⚽ Lautaro Martínez anytime scorer +155 — Argentina's striker has been dangerous all tournament. With Messi drawing every Swiss defender's attention, Lautaro will find space in behind. He has scored in three of Argentina's five matches and his movement in behind the defensive line is the perfect complement to Messi's creative genius.
⚽ Breel Embolo anytime scorer +350 — Switzerland's primary striker. If Switzerland pull off the biggest upset remaining in the tournament, Embolo is their most likely scorer. He scored twice in the group stage and his physical presence gives Argentina's center backs genuine problems.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Messi 3+ shots on target +155 — He has averaged 3.73 SOT per 90 and has reached 3+ in three of five matches. Against a Swiss defense that has been solid but has never faced a player of Messi's quality at this tournament, expect him to shoot early and often — especially from outside the box where his technique is peerless. OddsShark expert specifically highlights this prop as their top Messi play.
🎯 Over 2.5 goals -130 — The Over has gone in eight of Argentina's last nine games. Argentina have scored in every match and their attack through Messi, Lautaro, and Álvarez is the most potent remaining in the tournament. Switzerland's attack is limited without Manzambi. Argentina will score multiple times. The question is whether they concede — and their chaotic defending suggests Switzerland may find a way. Over 2.5 is tonight's clearest game script bet.
🎯 Argentina -1.5 goals -175 — Argentina have won by 2+ goals in four of their last six matches and outscored Switzerland's quality of opponent significantly. Expert computer picks specifically back this line. With Messi in this form against Manzambi-less Switzerland, two goals is not just possible — it's likely.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Messi anytime scorer at -115 vs Switzerland. Eight goals in five matches at 39. Scored in every start. Tied for the Golden Boot. Multiple expert sources back this specifically. The single most reliable prop bet of the entire tournament.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Kane 2+ shots on target at +105 vs Norway. Averaging 2.5 SOT per 90 against a Norway defense allowing 4.75 SOT per game — the most generous defense remaining. Getting plus money on Kane's shots on target with those numbers is the clearest edge on the board.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Over 2.5 goals in Norway vs England at -115. Norway have gone Over in every single match of this tournament. England have scored multiple goals in every knockout win. Norway allow 4.75 SOT per game. The structural case for Over is overwhelming.
🎯 LONGSHOT OF THE DAY: Haaland anytime scorer +120 as a standalone play. Seven goals in four matches. He didn't play in Norway's only loss — to France in the group stage. He hasn't missed a game he has started without scoring. That is the most extraordinary individual stat of the entire 2026 World Cup.
The greatest day of this World Cup. Kane. Haaland. Messi. Bellingham. All on the pitch. All hunting goals. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
France beat Morocco yesterday to advance to the World Cup semifinals — completing the same journey they made in 2022. Mbappé scored to extend his Golden Boot lead further. Morocco's incredible tournament is over. Today brings the second quarterfinal — Spain vs Belgium at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles at 3pm ET. This is a feast of individual prop markets. Yamal vs Belgium's defense. Oyarzabal on a scoring streak. De Bruyne pulling strings. Doku as Belgium's counter weapon. This is the best prop day of the tournament.
🇪🇸 Spain vs Belgium 🇧🇪 — 3:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles CA
To Advance: Spain -350, Belgium +265. Moneyline: Spain -160, Draw +290, Belgium +470.
Spain are unbeaten in 35 straight matches — tying the longest undefeated run in their history — and have not conceded a single goal in six World Cup matches. They beat Portugal 1-0 with a Mikel Merino stoppage-time goal in the Round of 16. Belgium are unbeaten in 18 straight matches themselves and have scored seven goals in two knockout matches after managing just six all group stage. Key injury news: Amadou Onana is OUT for Belgium with a torn ACL — a massive loss in midfield. Nico Williams is doubtful for Spain. The game is played in a dome at SoFi Stadium — perfect conditions, no weather factor.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Mikel Oyarzabal anytime scorer +120 — The board-leading goalscorer prop for this match and today's most supported expert pick. Oyarzabal has scored four goals in this tournament and found the net in nine of his last ten competitive starts for Spain. He is Spain's most clinical finisher — a natural penalty box striker whose movement is devastating in tight spaces. Belgium's center backs Mechele and Ngoy have been exposed throughout this tournament. This is the play of the day.
⚽ Lamine Yamal anytime scorer +155 — DraftKings has built their entire featured same-game parlay around Yamal today — dubbed "Lamine the Dream." He is the only player on the board besides Oyarzabal favored (negative odds) to score or assist. Yamal has taken 17 shots and put eight on target in 314 minutes at this World Cup. Belgium's left side — with Maxim De Cuyper and Tielemans filling in for the injured Onana — is their most vulnerable defensive area. CBS Sports soccer insider Brandt Sutton specifically recommends this prop.
⚽ Jeremy Doku anytime scorer +320 — Belgium's best counter weapon and described by Yahoo Sports as Belgium's "biggest threat against Spain's aggressive high line." He knows Marc Cucurella well from Premier League meetings and the pace matchup on Spain's left side favors Doku. Belgium don't need sustained possession for Doku to impact the match — one counter-attack can turn this game. At +320 he is today's best longshot scorer prop.
⚽ Kevin De Bruyne anytime scorer +380 — Belgium's creative heart returns to the starting lineup after resting against USA. De Bruyne has shot totals of 2, 7, 5 and 4 in his four World Cup appearances — he generates enormous volume. Rodri vs De Bruyne is the central midfield battle that will define this match. If De Bruyne wins that duel, Belgium can score.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Lamine Yamal 2+ shots on target -105 — The standout shots prop on today's entire board. Yamal has cleared this line in three of his last four World Cup matches with SOT totals of 2, 4, 0, and 2. He averages 1.8 SOT per match across his last ten competitive starts for Spain. The -105 price reflects near certainty from the market. CBS Sports specifically recommends this prop. Belgium's left side is their weakest defensive area with Onana out.
🎯 Lamine Yamal 3+ shots on target +330 — For bigger juice. Yamal posted 4 SOT against Austria and has shown the ability to hit extraordinary volume. Spain will dominate possession and Belgium's defense will be chasing Yamal all afternoon. He's landed 3.5+ shots in six of his last nine outings overall.
🎯 Kevin De Bruyne 2+ shots on target +130 — De Bruyne has surpassed this mark in each of his last ten starts for Belgium with tournament shot totals of 2, 7, 5 and 4. He averages well above this threshold. Even if Belgium spend long periods without the ball against Spain's possession dominance, De Bruyne remains their primary shooting threat. Excellent value at +130.
🎯 Spain to win to nil +155 — Spain have not conceded a single goal in six World Cup matches. Unai Simón has not been beaten all tournament. Belgium's attack is dangerous but Spain's defensive discipline under Rodri and the back four has been immaculate. At +155 this is outstanding value — you're getting plus money on what has been the most defensively solid side left in the tournament.
🎯 Draw at 90 minutes +290 — One expert specifically notes the draw as a "solid take" given both teams' extraordinary unbeaten streaks — Spain unbeaten in 35, Belgium in 18. When two sides this evenly matched with this much at stake meet, tight matches are the pattern. The draw at +290 is a live play if you think 90 minutes won't separate them. Spain won the 1986 quarterfinal against Belgium on penalties after a 1-1 draw — history could repeat.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Mikel Oyarzabal anytime scorer at +120. Four goals in the tournament, scored in nine of his last ten competitive starts. Board-leading goalscorer prop. Spain's most clinical finisher against Belgium's exposed center backs. Multiple expert sources specifically back this. The clearest individual scorer prop on today's board.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Lamine Yamal 2+ shots on target at -105. Near-certainty from the market. Cleared this line in three of his last four World Cup matches. Belgium's left side is their most vulnerable area with Onana out and Doku likely off the bench. CBS Sports soccer insider specifically recommends this prop.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Spain to win to nil at +155. Six clean sheets in six World Cup matches. Unai Simón unbreached all tournament. Belgium's best defensive midfielder is out with a torn ACL. Getting +155 on a side with the most dominant defensive record in the tournament is the best price value on today's board.
🎯 LONGSHOT OF THE DAY: Doku anytime scorer at +320. Belgium's most dangerous counter-attacking weapon. One break, one goal — and Belgium can flip this match. Yahoo Sports expert specifically highlights Doku vs Cucurella as the matchup to watch.
France are in the semifinal. Today Spain try to join them. Yamal, Oyarzabal, De Bruyne, and Doku — four of the best players at this World Cup on the same pitch. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
The Round of 16 delivered everything and more. Belgium destroyed the USA 4-1 — a brutal result that ends America's World Cup dream. Spain beat Portugal 1-0 in the Iberian Derby — a narrow but deserved win. Argentina came back from 2-0 DOWN against Egypt to win 3-2 in one of the greatest comebacks in World Cup history — Messi equalized in the 83rd, Romero scored in the 79th, then Enzo Fernández headed in a stoppage-time winner in what was also embroiled in VAR controversy. Switzerland beat Colombia on penalties to reach their first quarterfinal since 1954. The final eight are set. Today brings just one match — but what a match it is. France vs Morocco. The rematch of the 2022 semifinal. Boston. 4pm ET.
🇫🇷 France vs Morocco 🇲🇦 — 4:00 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Foxborough MA
To Advance: France -420, Morocco +310. Moneyline: France -180, Draw +280, Morocco +550.
France are the World Cup favorites and one of the most dominant teams in modern tournament history. They have outscored opponents 14-2 in this tournament, have conceded zero goals in the knockout rounds, and their attacking trident of Mbappé, Dembélé, and Olise is the best in the competition. Morocco are writing their own remarkable story — the first African team to reach back-to-back World Cup quarterfinals. They destroyed Canada 3-0, beat Netherlands on penalties, and their defensive discipline under Walid Regragui is elite. This is a genuine clash of the best attack and one of the best defenses remaining. Key injury news: Morocco's Ismael Saibari is unlikely to play after suffering a hamstring problem — a significant blow to their counter-attacking threat.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Kylian Mbappé anytime scorer +110 — The single best prop bet on the board today. Mbappé has scored in four of five World Cup matches this tournament. He has taken 26 shots and put 17 on target — 3.4 SOT per game. He has at least two shots on target in EVERY SINGLE MATCH this tournament. One goal behind Messi in the Golden Boot race. CBS Sports soccer insider Brandt Sutton specifically backs this prop. Morocco will throw everything at containing him — but Mbappé has penalty-taking responsibilities and France WILL earn set pieces. This is the most backed prop at this entire World Cup.
⚽ Ousmane Dembélé anytime scorer +220 — Four goals this tournament including a hat trick vs Norway. Yahoo Sports expert specifically recommends Dembélé as a prop today — his connection with Mbappé is described as the "deadliest in international football right now." Morocco's left side will be tormented by his directness.
⚽ Brahim Díaz anytime scorer +480 — Morocco's best value scorer according to Yahoo Sports expert analysis — specifically recommended with Saibari injured. Díaz scored five times in the AFCON this January and is Morocco's primary free kick threat within shooting range. If Morocco score, it will likely be through him.
⚽ Achraf Hakimi anytime scorer +550 — The PSG right back averages 2.63 shots per 90 and 15.7 box touches per game — more like a winger than a defender. OddsShark expert analysis specifically highlights Hakimi as Morocco's most likely scorer given how he operates — one lucky bounce from a Hakimi shot could be the shock of the tournament.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Mbappé 2+ shots on target -210 — Market near-certainty. He has at least two shots on target in every single match of this tournament across all five games. Even against Morocco's elite defense, the volume will be there. At -210 this is only worth using as a parlay foundation — not a standalone bet.
🎯 Mbappé 3+ shots on target +145 — CBS Sports specifically highlights this prop as the best shots market in this match. Mbappé has had 3+ SOT in four of five games this tournament and fired four shots on target in EACH of France's two knockout round matches. At +145 this is outstanding standalone value.
🎯 Michael Olise 1+ shot on target +155 — Yahoo Sports expert recommends Olise specifically today — he has five assists this tournament and his ability to roam infield and create angles is Morocco's biggest tactical problem to solve. He will shoot. Olise SOT at +155 is excellent value for a player this central to France's attack.
🎯 Under 2.5 goals -140 — Multiple expert sources specifically back this today. Morocco have conceded just four goals in five matches and are experts at slowing the tempo. In 2022, four of Morocco's seven matches went under 2.5 goals. France won Paraguay 1-0 in the last round. This match has low-scoring written all over it. The most structurally sound bet on today's board.
🎯 France to win to nil +120 — France have kept clean sheets in their last two matches. Morocco scored only once against Canada and needed penalties to beat Netherlands in the Round of 32 without Saibari. Three expert sources mention France clean sheet as a value play. At +120 this is exceptional value — getting plus money on the tournament's best defense keeping a clean sheet against an attack that has lost its primary striker.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Mbappé anytime scorer at +110. Four goals in five matches. 17 shots on target. Penalty-taking duties. Hunting the Golden Boot one goal behind Messi. France vs Morocco in Boston. Multiple expert sources back this specifically. The most certain prop bet remaining in the tournament.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Mbappé 3+ shots on target at +145. CBS Sports specifically highlights this. He's had 3+ SOT in four of five matches and fired four on target in each of France's two knockout games. At +145 this is the clearest shots prop value of the quarterfinals.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: France to win to nil at +120. Getting plus money on the tournament's best defensive AND offensive team keeping a clean sheet against an attack missing its best player. Multiple sources flag this as the value angle of the match.
🎯 GAME SCRIPT PLAY: Under 2.5 goals at -140. Morocco's entire approach is built on suppressing the game state. Four of Morocco's seven matches in 2022 went under 2.5 goals. France won Paraguay 1-0 last round. The structural case for under is overwhelming.
The quarterfinals are here. One match today. France vs Morocco — the rematch nobody forgot. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck. ⚽🏆
Yesterday was extraordinary. England beat Mexico at the Azteca — one of the most shocking results in World Cup history, ending Mexico's perfect unbeaten defensive run on their home turf. Norway beat Brazil — Haaland scored and Norway eliminated the five-time world champions in stunning fashion. The quarterfinal picture is taking shape and today brings two more blockbuster matches. Spain vs Portugal — the Iberian Derby. USA vs Belgium — the Americans' most important match in a generation. Balogun has been reinstated after his red card was overturned on appeal. This is the best day of football in the tournament so far.
🇪🇸 Spain vs Portugal 🇵🇹 — 3:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
To Advance: Spain -220, Portugal +178. Moneyline: Spain -115, Draw +260, Portugal +310.
The match everyone wanted. Spain vs Portugal — two of the greatest footballing nations on earth, sharing a peninsula, sharing a language, and meeting in the World Cup knockout stage for the first time since 2010. Spain demolished Austria 3-0 — Yamal was electric. Portugal beat Croatia 2-1 — Ronaldo scored the winner from the penalty spot. Spain are slight favorites at -115 on the moneyline with their younger, more cohesive squad. Portugal have Ronaldo but also Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, and Rafael Leão — a genuinely elite attacking quartet. DraftKings' featured same-game parlay for this match is dubbed "The Navigators" and centres on Portugal advancing. Yahoo Sports expert analysis recommends Spain to win at -105. This is the hardest match of the entire tournament to call.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Lamine Yamal anytime scorer +155 — Two goals in his last two matches. The 17-year-old is the most exciting player at this tournament — his direct dribbling and shooting on Portugal's right back will be the central tactical battle. Portugal's right back has been their weakest defensive area all competition. Yamal is the standout prop of the afternoon.
⚽ Cristiano Ronaldo anytime scorer +200 — Scored the winner against Croatia. This is almost certainly his final World Cup match — if Portugal are eliminated today, that's it. The occasion, the drama, the rivalry with Spain. Ronaldo at +200 for one of the most motivated men in football history on this specific stage is compelling.
⚽ Bruno Fernandes anytime scorer +220 — Portugal's creative engine has been outstanding all tournament. Set piece threat, late runs from midfield, and always willing to shoot from range. Against Spain's organized but sometimes open defense, Fernandes will find space.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Lamine Yamal 2+ shots on target +175 — Generated 4+ shots in each of his last two matches. Portugal's right back will be chasing him all afternoon. Even if Spain win comfortably, Yamal will be shooting constantly. Best shots prop of the afternoon.
🎯 Ronaldo 2+ shots on target +185 — He has averaged 3.8 shots per game in his strong performances this tournament. This is the biggest match of his remaining career. He will shoot at every opportunity. Even at +185 for 2+ SOT, this is outstanding value for a player this motivated.
🎯 Draw at 90 minutes +260 — This match is incredibly evenly matched. Spain -115 and Portugal +310 on the moneyline tells you the gap between them is not enormous. Draw at +260 is a live play — the Iberian Derby has ended level in multiple recent meetings and both teams will be cautious in a knockout context.
🇺🇸 USA vs Belgium 🇧🇪 — 5:00 PM ET, Lumen Field, Seattle
To Advance: USA -118, Belgium -104. Moneyline: USA +155, Draw +230, Belgium +180.
The match every American has been building toward. USA vs Belgium in Seattle — essentially a dead-even match at -118/-104 to advance, the closest matchup of the entire Round of 16. Belgium beat USA 5-2 in a March friendly but that match was 1-1 at halftime with the underlying first-half numbers equal — Belgium blew the game open in the second half. Balogun's red card has been overturned on appeal — he is available to start today. The USA has scored a first-half goal in 12 of their last 15 games against World Cup opponents. That early pressure is how they play. The Lumen Field crowd in Seattle will be deafening. DraftKings specifically highlights Christian Pulisic player props as the featured market for this match.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Christian Pulisic anytime scorer +170 — The USA captain and most dangerous attacker. DraftKings specifically features his props today. Pulisic has been involved in goals in every USA win this tournament — his driving runs into the Belgium penalty area on their right side will be the key attacking weapon. Best USA prop on the board.
⚽ Folarin Balogun anytime scorer +190 — Reinstated after red card appeal. Two goals in the opener against Paraguay. His pace and direct running is a nightmare for Belgium's center backs. Against a Belgian defense that was opened up repeatedly by Senegal, Balogun has a huge opportunity today.
⚽ Jeremy Doku anytime scorer +230 — Belgium's most dangerous attacker and called out by Fox Sports as their primary threat. His pace on USA's right side is Belgium's best chance of scoring. USA's right back has been solid but Doku is the player who can expose any defense when in form.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Christian Pulisic 2+ shots on target +155 — Pulisic averages 2.5+ attempts per game in this tournament. DraftKings features his shots prop specifically today. In a dead-even match where USA attacks from the first whistle, Pulisic will generate significant volume both from range and inside the box.
🎯 USA first half goal +115 — The USA has scored in the first half in 12 of their last 15 games against World Cup opponents. Belgium's defense has been vulnerable early in matches. Getting +115 on a USA first-half goal is among the best value bets of the entire tournament. This is how the USA plays — they come out fast.
🎯 USA to advance -118 — Home advantage in Seattle. Balogun reinstated. USA first-half goal trend at +115. The Americans are essentially a coin flip to advance and playing at home in front of one of the most passionate crowds in world football. The to-advance price of -118 is modest and worth backing outright.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: USA first half goal at +115. The USA has scored in the first half in 12 of their last 15 games against World Cup opponents. Belgium's defense has been opened up repeatedly. Getting plus money on a team that consistently scores early in their home stadium is the clearest edge on today's board.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Yamal 2+ shots on target vs Portugal at +175. He has generated 4+ shots in each of his last two matches and Portugal's right back will be chasing him all afternoon. Even if the match is tight, Yamal will be shooting constantly.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Ronaldo anytime scorer at +200. This is almost certainly his last World Cup match. The biggest rivalry in football. The occasion and the man demands a goal — at +200, the most emotionally and historically compelling prop bet of the entire tournament.
🎯 PROP OF THE DAY: Pulisic anytime scorer at +170. DraftKings' featured prop. USA captain, most dangerous attacker, Lumen Field behind him, Belgium's right side has been their defensive weakness all tournament.
Spain vs Portugal. USA vs Belgium. The best day of the tournament. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Let's go USA. ⚽🇺🇸🏆
Yesterday was electric but tighter than expected. France beat Paraguay 1-0 in a game that showed Paraguay are no pushover — Mbappé didn't score and France relied on a Griezmann free kick. Morocco beat Canada in what was a disciplined defensive masterclass from the Moroccan side. Today brings two of the most compelling Round of 16 matches imaginable — Brazil vs Haaland's Norway in New Jersey, and Mexico vs England at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. This is destination viewing on a Sunday.
🇧🇷 Brazil vs Norway 🇳🇴 — 4:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford NJ
To Advance: Brazil -270, Norway +215. Moneyline: Brazil -125, Draw +260, Norway +360.
The most eagerly anticipated match of the Round of 16. Brazil beat Japan 2-1 in a dramatic finish — going down 1-0, equalizing through Rodrygo in the 56th minute and then a stoppage time winner. Norway beat Ivory Coast 2-1 with Haaland scoring again — he now has 5 goals in 4 matches and is tied with Salah for second in the Golden Boot behind Mbappé. CBS Sports notes Vinícius Jr had his chances against Japan but "will have to wait until the next match to try and get back on the scoresheet" — he is +2200 for the Golden Boot after his 4 group stage goals. This match is a genuine 50/50 at its heart — Brazil -125 on the moneyline is barely a coin flip. Norway have the quality to shock Brazil.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Erling Haaland anytime scorer +130 — Five goals in four matches. Every match he enters he is the most likely single player to score. Brazil's center backs will be tested physically like no opponent has tested them this tournament. Haaland relentlessly attacks the penalty spot — he will get chances.
⚽ Vinícius Jr anytime scorer +155 — Scoreless vs Japan and desperate to contribute. Brazil's left channel is his playground and Norway's right back has been their weakest defensive link all tournament. Expect Vini to be absolutely relentless today.
⚽ Rodrygo anytime scorer +200 — The man who equalized against Japan in the 56th minute. Brazil's second goal threat and always dangerous from set pieces. +200 is outstanding value for a player in this form.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Haaland 2+ shots on target +145 — He averaged 3.5 SOT per game in the group stage. Against Brazil's defense he will generate volume — they have been vulnerable through the middle and Haaland exploits exactly that space. Best shots prop on the board today.
🎯 Vinícius Jr 2+ shots on target +155 — CBS Sports specifically flagged Vini's desire to get on the scoresheet today after being held scoreless vs Japan. He will attack Norway's right side aggressively and generate significant shot volume.
🎯 Both teams to score +100 — Brazil conceded against Japan. Norway scored in every group match. Both teams are attacking-minded and neither defense is airtight. Even money on both teams scoring is excellent value in what is the most open match of the Round of 16.
🇲🇽 Mexico vs England 🏴 — 8:00 PM ET, Estadio Azteca, Mexico City
To Advance: England -136, Mexico +112. Moneyline: England +145, Draw +210, Mexico +210.
One of the most dramatic possible Round of 16 fixtures. England returns to the Azteca — a venue they have never won at in World Cup history. Mexico is the first team to win its opening four World Cup matches without conceding since Italy in 1990, allowing only 32 shots in four games with an average shot quality fifth-worst in the tournament. England has also allowed 32 shots. This is an elite defensive encounter — Yahoo Sports expert analysis points to the draw here, and Under 2.5 goals is -180 for a reason. The hostile cauldron of the Azteca at 2,250m altitude is one of the most daunting environments in world football for a visiting side.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Harry Kane anytime scorer +165 — England's captain and most clinical finisher. Two goals vs Congo in the Round of 32, both in the final 15 minutes. Mexico have been exceptional defensively but Kane finds a way in tight matches — his movement and penalty threat are always dangerous.
⚽ Julián Quiñones anytime scorer +200 — Mexico's most in-form attacker and the Azteca crowd will elevate his game to another level. England's defense has shown vulnerability to pace on the counter — Quiñones has the speed and technique to exploit that.
⚽ Jude Bellingham anytime scorer +210 — England's creative heartbeat. His late runs from midfield have been one of England's most dangerous weapons all tournament. Mexico will defend deep and Bellingham will have license to arrive late into the box.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Harry Kane 2+ shots on target +175 — Even in tight matches Kane generates shot volume. He averages 2.8 attempts per game this tournament. Mexico will defend deep but leave Kane space to attempt from distance as well as inside the box.
🎯 Under 2.5 goals -180 — Both teams have conceded a combined ZERO goals in this tournament prior to today. Mexico haven't conceded all competition. England's last three opponents scored one combined goal against them. This is the most defensively sound matchup of the entire knockout stage. Under 2.5 goals is the single most supported game script play on today's board.
🎯 Draw at 90 minutes +210 — Yahoo Sports expert analysis recommends the draw. England playing in an altitude cauldron they have never won at, Mexico defensively unbreachable, and two offenses that "haven't been totally clicking yet." Even money+ on the draw in this specific context is value.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Haaland anytime scorer vs Brazil at +130. Five goals in four matches, tied second in the Golden Boot race, and Brazil have been vulnerable through the middle all tournament. The single clearest individual prop of the day.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Haaland 2+ shots on target vs Brazil at +145. Averaged 3.5 SOT per game in the group stage. Even if Norway don't win, Haaland will generate volume against a Brazil defense that has been exposed through the centre.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Mexico vs England draw at +210. Both defenses are elite, altitude disadvantage for England, the Azteca has never been won at by England, and expert analysis specifically recommends the draw. +210 on a draw in this specific context is outstanding value.
🎯 GAME SCRIPT PLAY: Mexico vs England Under 2.5 goals at -180. Neither team has conceded all tournament. Both offenses have been inconsistent. This match has 0-0 or 1-0 written all over it and -180 is justified.
Brazil vs Haaland. Mexico vs England at the Azteca. Two of the best matches of the entire tournament. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
What a night yesterday. Argentina 3-2 Cape Verde — in extra time. Cape Verde leveled the score TWICE against the reigning World Cup champions, the world's top-ranked side, and the greatest player ever. An own goal in the 111th minute finally ended Cape Verde's dream. Egypt beat Australia 2-1 thanks to two Mohamed Salah goals — he is now at five for the tournament. Colombia beat Ghana 2-0 with Luis Díaz and James Rodríguez both scoring. The Round of 16 begins today with two matches and both are fascinating for very different reasons.
🇨🇦 Canada vs Morocco 🇲🇦 — 1:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
To Advance: Morocco -260, Canada +205. Moneyline: Morocco -115, Draw +230, Canada +380.
The match of the day. Morocco are deserving favorites — they are one of the best defensive sides left in the tournament, knocked out Netherlands on penalties, beat Scotland and Haiti, and drew Brazil 1-1. But one expert specifically sees "massive value on Canada at +450" and the reasoning is compelling. Canada have thrived under pressure all tournament — Jonathan David has been electric, Alphonso Davies is fully fit, and their high-octane offense is generating real quality. Canada beat South Africa 1-0 in the Round of 32 — a professional, disciplined performance. This is a co-host nation on July 4th in Houston with enormous crowd support. Morocco -115 on the moneyline is the smart play but Canada at +380 is today's most exciting value bet.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Jonathan David anytime scorer +165 — Canada's tournament top scorer. The Lille striker has been clinical all competition and Morocco will need to contain him from the first whistle. His movement in behind the defensive line is Morocco's biggest threat to manage.
⚽ Youssef En-Nesyri anytime scorer +240 — Morocco's aerial threat and set piece specialist. If Morocco score it will likely be from a dead ball and En-Nesyri is their primary weapon in those situations. Morocco's set piece record in this tournament has been exceptional.
⚽ Alphonso Davies anytime scorer +350 — The Bayern Munich left back has license to bomb forward and has a goal in this tournament. Canada's most threatening wide threat — his pace terrifies any defense.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Jonathan David 2+ shots on target +170 — David has averaged 3+ shots per game in this tournament. Against Morocco's deep defensive block he will generate volume even if Morocco make it difficult to convert.
🎯 Under 2.5 goals -145 — Morocco have kept four clean sheets or conceded once in all five matches. Canada's defense has been excellent. Both teams are defensively sound and this match has 1-0 written all over it. The most confident game script call of the day.
🎯 Canada +380 moneyline — If you believe in the co-host July 4th crowd factor, the Jonathan David danger, and Morocco being vulnerable from transitions — Canada at nearly 4-to-1 is extraordinary value for a team that has been genuinely competitive all tournament.
🇫🇷 France vs Paraguay 🇵🇾 — 5:00 PM ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
To Advance: France -2000, Paraguay +1220. Moneyline: France -600, Draw +600, Paraguay +1900.
France are the World Cup favorites at +180 outright and -2000 to advance — the most lopsided Round of 16 fixture in memory. Mbappé has 6 goals. Dembélé has 4. Griezmann is providing creativity. Paraguay are here on merit — they knocked out Germany on penalties in one of the biggest upsets of the Round of 32 — but they are desperately overmatched against France's quality. The only real question is how many France score. Mbappé is on a mission for the Golden Boot — Salah and Haaland are both at 5 goals, Mbappé is at 6. He will not ease off.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Kylian Mbappé anytime scorer -175 — Six goals in four games. The runaway Golden Boot leader. France against Paraguay is the perfect stage for him to extend that lead. Take it even at the short price — this is as close to a certainty as tournament football allows.
⚽ Ousmane Dembélé anytime scorer +135 — Four goals including a hat trick vs Norway. Paraguay will be overloaded in every area and Dembélé will exploit the space behind their defensive line. Excellent value at +135.
⚽ Antoine Griezmann anytime scorer +200 — World Cup 2018 winner and still operating at the highest level. Scored from a free kick vs Senegal. Paraguay will give up set pieces and Griezmann is lethal from dead balls.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Mbappé 3+ shots on target +165 — He averaged 4+ shots per game in the group stage. Against Paraguay's deep block expect relentless attempts. France generated 8+ SOT in every win this tournament.
🎯 France Over 3.5 goals -115 — France have scored 3, 3, 4, and 3 in their last four matches. Paraguay have been defensively solid but their personnel simply cannot match France's attacking quality. This price is a gift — France scoring 4+ is more likely than not.
🎯 Mbappé first goal scorer +250 — He has opened the scoring in three of France's four matches this tournament. Paraguay will start deep and Mbappé will get an early chance from a France set piece or counter. For those wanting bigger juice on the obvious play.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Mbappé anytime scorer at -175 vs Paraguay. Six goals in four games, runaway Golden Boot leader, France against a massively outclassed opponent. This is as close to a certainty as tournament football allows.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Mbappé 3+ shots on target vs Paraguay at +165. He averaged 4+ shots per game in the group stage. Even if France ease off after going ahead, Mbappé will keep shooting for the Golden Boot.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Canada +380 vs Morocco. Co-host nation, July 4th crowd, Jonathan David in form, and Morocco are genuinely vulnerable in transition. Nearly 4-to-1 on a team that has been competitive throughout the tournament.
🎯 GAME SCRIPT PLAY: Canada vs Morocco Under 2.5 goals at -145. Morocco have conceded once or not at all in five matches. Canada's defense has been excellent. Both teams are set up to be tight and defensive. The safest play on the board today.
Happy 4th of July. Round of 16 is here. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🇺🇸🏆
Yesterday was extraordinary. Spain demolished Austria 3-0 — Lamine Yamal got the WWE championship belt in the post-match celebrations, a viral moment that captured the joy of a team operating at full capacity. Portugal beat Croatia 2-1 — Ronaldo scored again, silencing doubters for the second time in three matches. Switzerland beat Algeria 2-0 — a disciplined performance from the Swiss. Today the Round of 32 concludes with three matches and the story of the day is unmistakably Lionel Messi, who at 39 years old has scored a hat trick against Algeria and both goals against Austria. He is having arguably the most extraordinary individual tournament of his career.
🇦🇺 Australia vs Egypt 🇪🇬 — 2:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
To Advance: Egypt -142, Australia +116. Moneyline: Egypt +150, Draw +180, Australia +240.
The most evenly priced match of the day and genuinely the hardest to call. Egypt have Mohamed Salah — who has apparently been cleared from an injury he suffered in the group stage finale — and Omar Marmoush of Manchester City. Australia managed only two goals all group stage, both against Türkiye, averaging just 28.4% possession across their group games. Egypt drew Belgium and Iran before beating New Zealand. Egypt are the better side on paper but the to-advance odds have Egypt as only slight favorites. SportsLine expert Matt Severance recommends Egypt tie no bet at -150 — meaning your bet is returned if it draws and you win if Egypt win outright. That is today's most elegant play on this match.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Mohamed Salah anytime scorer +145 — Cleared from injury and motivated to deliver. One of the five goalscorers for Egypt in the group stage. Liverpool's captain on his biggest individual stage. The standout prop of the afternoon.
⚽ Omar Marmoush anytime scorer +190 — Manchester City's Egyptian star has been in tremendous form. His movement in behind Australia's defensive line is a genuine weapon. Two goals this tournament.
⚽ Martin Boyle anytime scorer +380 — Australia's most dangerous attacker. If Australia pull an upset it likely runs through Boyle on the counter — he has pace and technique to hurt Egypt on the break.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Mohamed Salah 2+ shots on target +160 — Salah averaged 3+ shots per game in Egypt's group stage. He will be desperate to deliver on this stage. Even if Egypt don't win, Salah generates volume.
🎯 Egypt tie no bet -150 — Expert recommended play. Egypt win or get your money back on a draw. Australia only managed 2 shots on target against South Africa and their offensive output has been desperately low.
🇦🇷 Argentina vs Cape Verde 🇨🇻 — 6:00 PM ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami
To Advance: Argentina -1800, Cape Verde +1060. Moneyline: Argentina -700, Draw +700, Cape Verde +2000.
Lionel Messi is 39 years old, has scored 5 goals in 3 games — a hat trick vs Algeria, both goals vs Austria — and is having arguably the most extraordinary individual World Cup since his own 2022 triumph. CBS Sports expert Martin Green is backing Argentina -1.5 plus Messi to score at -132 as a combined play. Cape Verde are one of the great stories of this tournament — goalkeeper Vozinha went viral, they held Spain to a 0-0 draw, and their Cinderella run has captured the world's imagination. But Argentina have outscored their opponents 8-0 across three group games. This will not be competitive.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Lionel Messi anytime scorer -132 — The most backed prop at this World Cup. Five goals in three games at 39 years old. CBS Sports expert Martin Green specifically recommends this combined with Argentina -1.5. Skip the moneyline at -700 and put your Argentina money here instead.
⚽ Lautaro Martínez anytime scorer +130 — Argentina's striker has scored twice in the group stage. With Cape Verde defending deep and Messi drawing attention, Lautaro will have space to operate. Outstanding value at +130.
⚽ Julián Álvarez anytime scorer +160 — Manchester City's World Cup winner always shows up on big stages. Three goals in this tournament. Another reliable Argentina attacking option at an attractive price.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Messi 3+ shots on target +175 — Argentina's GOAT averages 4+ shots per game in this tournament. Against Cape Verde who will defend with ten men deep, expect Messi to shoot constantly from distance as well as in close.
🎯 Argentina -1.5 goals -175 — Expert play from CBS Sports. Argentina have scored 3, 2, and 3 goals in consecutive group stage games. Cape Verde have the worst defensive record of any remaining team. This line will move — get it now.
🇨🇴 Colombia vs Ghana 🇬🇭 — 9:30 PM ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
Moneyline: Colombia -240, Draw +340, Ghana +700.
Colombia are the most underrated team left in this tournament. They topped their group ahead of Portugal, beat Uzbekistan 3-1, beat DR Congo 1-0, and drew 0-0 with Colombia in a match where they dominated possession and expected goals. Ghana only scored twice in three group games, their only win came from a 95th-minute winner against Panama, and they lost the shot count 19-2 against England. CBS Sports expert Martin Green recommends Colombia to win and Under 3.5 total goals at -124 — Colombia are clinical and Ghana simply cannot score enough to make this a contest.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Luis Díaz anytime scorer +160 — Liverpool's Colombian winger has been electric this tournament. Two goals and three assists in the group stage. Ghana's right back has been targeted all tournament and Díaz will exploit that channel.
⚽ James Rodríguez anytime scorer +220 — Colombia's creative genius. Set piece threat and always capable of a moment of individual brilliance. Two assists already this tournament and due a goal.
⚽ Falcao anytime scorer +280 — The veteran striker came off the bench to impact games in the group stage. Against Ghana's limited defense his movement in the box could be decisive if he starts tonight.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Luis Díaz 2+ shots on target +145 — Generated 4+ shots in multiple group games. Against Ghana's right side — their weakest defensive area — expect Díaz to be Colombia's primary attacking outlet and generate significant volume.
🎯 Colombia to win and Under 3.5 goals -124 — Expert backed play. Colombia are clinical, Ghana can't score, and this match has 2-0 or 1-0 written all over it. Expert Martin Green specifically recommends this combination.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Messi anytime scorer vs Cape Verde at -132. Five goals in three games at age 39. The most certain prop bet of the entire tournament. CBS Sports expert Martin Green specifically recommends this combined with Argentina -1.5.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Salah 2+ shots on target vs Australia at +160. Cleared from injury and desperate to deliver. Egypt's entire attack runs through him and Australia simply don't have the quality to contain him.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Lautaro Martínez anytime scorer at +130. Argentina's striker has scored twice in the group stage and with Messi drawing every defender's attention, Lautaro will have acres of space. Underpriced at +130.
The Round of 32 ends today. Round of 16 starts tomorrow. Messi at 39 is doing things nobody has ever done at this age. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
What a day yesterday. England beat DR Congo 2-1. Belgium edged Senegal 3-2 after extra time in an absolute thriller. And the USA shut out Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 to advance — all three co-host nations are through to the Round of 16. Today brings Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland — three very different matches with very different prop angles. Let's get into it.
🇪🇸 Spain vs Austria 🇦🇹 — 3:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles
To Advance: Spain -950, Austria +610. Moneyline: Spain -340, Draw +420, Austria +1000.
Spain are firing on all cylinders after recovering from that shocking Cape Verde draw. Four goals against Saudi Arabia, beat Uruguay 1-0, and haven't conceded in two matches. Lamine Yamal scored his first World Cup goal against Saudi Arabia in front of his hometown crowd — described by ESPN as watching him score in "his hometown." Austria drew Algeria 3-3 before advancing — they showed they can score but also concede. Spain's talent is overwhelming at this level.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Lamine Yamal anytime scorer +125 — DraftKings has built an entire same-game parlay around Yamal today. He scored his first World Cup goal last match, is now fully fit, and Austria's right side is their weakest defensive area. The standout prop of the afternoon.
⚽ Mikel Oyarzabal anytime scorer +180 — DraftKings features Oyarzabal in their "Made For This" parlay today. Spain's clinical finisher. Two goals in the group stage including the opener against Cape Verde.
⚽ David Alaba anytime scorer +450 — Austria's captain and set piece threat. If Austria are going to pull an upset it likely runs through a dead ball moment and Alaba is their most dangerous from range.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Lamine Yamal 2+ shots on target +165 — He generated 4 shots in the last match. Against Austria's right side expect him to be even more involved. Strong value.
🎯 Spain Over 6.5 total shots on target -115 — Spain averaged 7+ SOT in their wins and Austria concede from long range and set pieces. Spain will generate enormous volume here.
🇵🇹 Portugal vs Croatia 🇭🇷 — 7:00 PM ET, BMO Field, Toronto
To Advance: Portugal -290, Croatia +235. Moneyline: Portugal -130, Draw +260, Croatia +400.
The most fascinating match of the day. Portugal drew Colombia 0-0 to finish the group — ESPN's Dawson wrote "Four years later, same debate for Portugal: Why is Ronaldo still starting?" — then Ronaldo went silent against DR Congo in the group stage. But in their second game he scored twice against Uzbekistan. Croatia beat Panama 1-0 and Ghana 2-1 to advance. ESPN notes this match could have denied us a Messi-Ronaldo showdown in the last eight. Croatia are always dangerous — 2018 runners-up. DraftKings has built a "SIUUU!" parlay around Ronaldo scoring 2+ goals and recording 5+ shots today.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Cristiano Ronaldo anytime scorer +165 — Two goals against Uzbekistan, brace in his last meaningful appearance. The stage is set for his World Cup farewell. DraftKings is backing him hard with 5+ shots prop alongside scorer. Croatia are vulnerable to set pieces and Ronaldo is lethal in the air.
⚽ Bruno Fernandes anytime scorer +200 — Portugal's creative engine. Three assists in the group stage and always a threat from set pieces. Against Croatia's aging backline Fernandes will find space.
⚽ Ivan Perišić anytime scorer +320 — Croatia's most dangerous attacker. Set piece threat and always shows up in knockout football. Portugal have conceded from crosses all tournament.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Cristiano Ronaldo 3+ shots on target +210 — DraftKings features this specifically in the SIUUU parlay. Ronaldo averaged 4.2 shots per game in his two strong performances this tournament. Against Croatia he will be determined and shoot often.
🎯 Both teams to score +105 — Croatia have scored in every match of this tournament. Portugal have conceded twice. This is not a clean sheet match. Even money on both teams scoring is excellent value.
🇨🇭 Switzerland vs Algeria 🇩🇿 — 11:00 PM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
To Advance: Switzerland -205, Algeria +164. Moneyline: Switzerland -205, Draw +300, Algeria +550.
The most open match of the evening and the biggest upset potential of today's three. Switzerland beat Bosnia 4-1 and Canada 2-1 before edging Group B. Algeria drew Argentina 3-3 in their final group game — a remarkable result after losing 3-0 to Argentina in the opener. Algeria have Bennacer and Aouar in midfield and can hurt Switzerland on the counter. DraftKings' "Offense on Display" parlay backs Switzerland to score 2+ goals. ESPN calls this "Algeria vs Austria" as the World Cup's biggest grudge match — likely a reference to the notorious 1982 match between West Germany and Austria.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Breel Embolo anytime scorer +200 — DraftKings features Embolo in the "Made For This" parlay. Switzerland's primary striker. Two goals in the group stage. He is always dangerous when Switzerland push forward and Algeria's backline has been inconsistent.
⚽ Granit Xhaka anytime scorer +280 — Switzerland's captain and set piece specialist. Scored a stunning long-range goal against Bosnia. Algeria will defend deep — Xhaka long shots are a genuine threat.
⚽ Islam Slimani anytime scorer +350 — Algeria's veteran striker. If Algeria pull the upset, Slimani is their most likely scorer. He was electric off the bench against Argentina in the 3-3 draw.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Breel Embolo 2+ shots on target +175 — Switzerland generated 8+ SOT in their group stage wins. Embolo is central to everything and Algeria will give him space to work in behind.
🎯 Algeria to advance +164 — Today's best value outright play. Switzerland are favorites at -205 but Algeria drew Argentina 3-3 in their last match — they are in form and dangerous on the counter. +164 to advance is outstanding value for a team that has genuinely turned a corner in this tournament.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Lamine Yamal anytime scorer vs Austria at +125. Fully fit, scored last match, Austria's weakest defensive channel is exactly where Yamal operates. DraftKings built their featured same-game parlay around him for a reason.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Ronaldo 3+ shots on target vs Croatia at +210. He averaged 4.2 shots per game in his two strongest performances. This is his World Cup farewell stage and he will shoot.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Algeria to advance vs Switzerland at +164. They drew Argentina 3-3 in their last match. Switzerland are favorites but Algeria are dangerous on the counter and this price is too generous.
Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. All three host nations are through. Good luck tonight. ⚽🏆
Yesterday delivered everything. Norway beat Ivory Coast 2-1 — Haaland scored again, now with 5 tournament goals. France demolished Sweden 3-0 with Mbappé bagging a brace to reach 6 goals — he is now the runaway Golden Boot leader and arguably the most dangerous player in the world right now. Mexico beat Ecuador 2-0 for their fourth clean sheet in four games — El Tri are absolutely flying. Today brings England, Belgium, and the USA — three massive fanbases and three very different betting angles.
🏴 England vs DR Congo 🇨🇩 — 12:00 PM ET, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
To Advance: England -800, DR Congo +520. Moneyline: England -380, Draw +440, DR Congo +1300.
England are heavy favorites and rightly so — they beat Panama 2-0 to close the group after demolishing Croatia 4-2 and drawing 0-0 with Ghana. DR Congo are a dangerous side though — they drew with Portugal and beat Uzbekistan 3-1 with Yoane Wissa scoring twice. This is not a walkover. Fox Sports predicts Congo will get England to extra time but England eventually win 2-1. Harry Kane has been in excellent form — Kane is +220 to score first and has two goals this tournament.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Harry Kane anytime scorer +140 — Two goals in the group stage. England's set piece threat and most clinical finisher. DR Congo will defend deep but Kane finds space in tight games.
⚽ Jude Bellingham anytime scorer +180 — Outstanding tournament so far. Against a DR Congo side that allows counter-attacks, Bellingham's late runs from midfield will be lethal.
⚽ Yoane Wissa anytime scorer +350 — Congo's danger man. Two goals vs Uzbekistan, scored vs Portugal. England's defense has shown they can be vulnerable. Don't completely write off Congo on the counter.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Harry Kane 2+ shots on target +155 — England's primary striker averages 3+ attempts per game. Against a side that defends deep, expect England to generate significant volume and Kane to be central to it.
🎯 England Over 5.5 total shots on target -120 — England averaged 7+ SOT in their two wins this tournament. Against a defensive Congo side the volume will be high even if some shots are blocked.
🇧🇪 Belgium vs Senegal 🇸🇳 — 4:00 PM ET, Lumen Field, Seattle
To Advance: Belgium -178, Senegal +146. Moneyline: Belgium +115, Draw +210, Senegal +260.
The most compelling match of the day. Belgium drew Egypt and Iran in the group stage — then woke up to demolish New Zealand 5-1. Senegal lost to France and Norway before thrashing Iraq 5-0. Both teams are in form but came through the group stage via very different paths. Fox Sports notes this match could see a lot of goals — both teams push forward in numbers and are susceptible when they lose the ball. The to-advance odds say Belgium -178 but the moneyline is Belgium +115 — meaning the smart money isn't confident this ends in 90 minutes.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Jeremy Doku anytime scorer +220 — Fox Sports calls Doku "clearly the most dangerous player for Belgium." His pace on the left side against Senegal's right back is a massive mismatch. Best Belgium prop on the board.
⚽ Ismaila Sarr anytime scorer +200 — Fox Sports notes Sarr is "absolutely feeling this tournament." Three goals for Senegal including two in the 5-0 destruction of Iraq. Belgium's left side has been exposed all tournament.
⚽ Romelu Lukaku anytime scorer +175 — Finally found form with a goal against Egypt. The big man is a physical nightmare for Senegal's center backs. Both teams to score is strongly supported here.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Jeremy Doku 2+ shots on target +180 — When Doku gets going he generates volume. Against Senegal's aggressive defensive setup there will be space to run into and shoot.
🎯 Both teams to score +100 — Today's best value play. Both Belgium and Senegal like to attack, both have been vulnerable defensively, and the to-advance odds gap suggests this could easily go to extra time. An open game favors goals from both sides.
🇺🇸 USA vs Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦 — 8:00 PM ET, Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara
To Advance: USA -650, Bosnia +420. Moneyline: USA -280, Draw +400, Bosnia +800.
The match every American has circled. The USMNT at Levi's Stadium — a sold-out crowd, maximum home atmosphere, and the chance to become the first US team to reach the Round of 16 at a home World Cup since 1994. Bosnia took down Italy in qualifying — Pochettino has used the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" as motivation for his squad. The USA lost to Türkiye 3-2 in stoppage time in the final group game — Pochettino will have drilled the defensive discipline all week. Folarin Balogun scored twice in the opener against Paraguay.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Folarin Balogun anytime scorer +155 — Two goals in the opening game vs Paraguay. Arsenal's rising star has the pace and finishing to hurt Bosnia. The Bosnian backline is organized but has been exposed by quality movement.
⚽ Christian Pulisic anytime scorer +175 — The captain. Scored in the opener. His creative play in tight spaces is perfectly suited to breaking down a defensive Bosnian setup. He'll want to lead from the front on this stage.
⚽ Ermin Mahmic anytime scorer +380 — Bosnia's surprise scorer of the tournament with a goal in the group stage. If Bosnia pull off an upset it likely runs through set pieces and Mahmic is a major aerial threat.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Christian Pulisic 2+ shots on target +160 — Pulisic averages 2.5 attempts per game in this tournament. The Levi's Stadium crowd will elevate his game. He generates volume in knockout football.
🎯 USA clean sheet +145 — Bosnia were shutout by Switzerland 4-1 and have only one goal in their last two matches. With Pochettino having drilled defensive discipline after the Turkey loss, USA keeping a clean sheet at home in this atmosphere is genuinely live at +145.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Both teams to score in Belgium vs Senegal at +100. Two attacking teams, both vulnerable defensively, and the to-advance gap suggests this won't be settled in 90 minutes. Even money on both teams scoring is extraordinary value.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: England Over 5.5 total shots on target at -120. England have averaged 7+ SOT in their two wins and DR Congo will sit deep, generating huge volume against England's attack.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: USA clean sheet vs Bosnia at +145. Bosnia have been shutout twice recently, Pochettino has drilled defensive discipline, and Levi's Stadium will be electric. That price is too generous.
Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. USA kickoff is tonight at 8pm ET. Let's go. ⚽🇺🇸🏆
What a day yesterday. Brazil beat Japan 2-1 in a genuine classic. Paraguay shocked Germany — a 1-1 draw before winning 4-3 on penalties, sending the Germans home. Morocco beat Netherlands 1-1 (3-2 on penalties) in an even bigger upset — two European giants eliminated on the same day. Today brings three matches and the headline act is enormous: Mbappé vs Haaland for top spot in Group I, with both players tied at 4 goals in the Golden Boot race alongside Messi. This is destination viewing.
🇨🇮 Ivory Coast vs Norway 🇳🇴 — 1:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
To Advance: Norway -186, Ivory Coast +152. Moneyline: Norway +105, Draw +250, Ivory Coast +270.
Haaland scored twice against Iraq and twice more against Senegal — four goals in two games, fully fit and firing. Ivory Coast conceded just 2 goals in the group stage despite facing Germany and Ecuador — Emerse Faé's defensive unit is one of the best in the tournament. This is the ultimate clash of irresistible force vs immovable object.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Erling Haaland anytime scorer +125 — Scored in both group games. He is on a mission to keep pace in the Golden Boot race. Ivory Coast's defense is excellent but nobody has fully stopped Haaland yet this tournament.
⚽ Nicolas Pépé anytime scorer +280 — Ivory Coast's most dangerous attacking threat. If they're going to cause an upset it likely runs through him on the counter.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Haaland 2+ shots on target +140 — He has been relentless in front of goal. Against a deep defensive block expect him to generate volume even if he doesn't convert every chance.
🇫🇷 France vs Sweden 🇸🇪 — 5:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford
To Advance: France -1000, Sweden +620. Moneyline: France -400, Draw +500, Sweden +1000.
France are the World Cup favorites and rightfully so — Mbappé has 16 goals in 16 career World Cup appearances and has scored 4 this tournament. Dembélé added a hat trick against Norway. This French attack is the best in the tournament right now. Sweden have nothing for this level of quality.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Kylian Mbappé anytime scorer -110 — Opened the scoring in each of France's first two fixtures. The most reliable goal scorer prop at this entire World Cup. Take it even at the short price.
⚽ Ousmane Dembélé anytime scorer +160 — Hat trick against Norway has him level with Mbappé and Haaland at 4 goals. The two-headed monster up front makes France nearly impossible to defend.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 France Over 6.5 total shots on target -115 — Sweden will be overrun. France have generated massive shot volume all tournament and Sweden's defense has shown cracks.
🇲🇽 Mexico vs Ecuador 🇪🇨 — 9:00 PM ET, Estadio Azteca, Mexico City
To Advance: Mexico -182, Ecuador +148. Moneyline: Mexico +120, Draw +190, Ecuador +290.
Mexico have not conceded a single goal at this tournament — perfect group stage, 9 points, elite defense. Ecuador have one of the best defenses in the world too but were shut out twice in the group stage and barely scored. This has the makings of a tight, low-scoring affair at altitude in front of a deafening home crowd. Julián Quiñones has scored in two of Mexico's three games and was the Saudi Pro League's top scorer with 33 goals last season.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Julián Quiñones anytime scorer +180 — Mexico's most in-form attacker. Man of the Match against South Africa, scored again against Czechia. The Azteca crowd will lift him.
⚽ Raúl Jiménez anytime scorer +220 — Mexico's veteran striker has a goal already this tournament. Against an Ecuador side that has been shut out twice, his aerial threat at set pieces is dangerous.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Under 2.5 total goals -125 — Two elite defenses, Ecuador haven't scored in two straight games, and this match has 1-0 written all over it.
🎯 Mexico clean sheet +105 — They haven't conceded all tournament. Ecuador's attack has been toothless. Strong value if you believe the trend continues.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Kylian Mbappé anytime scorer at -110. The single most reliable goal scorer prop in the entire tournament. Opened the scoring in both group games and faces a leaky Norway-adjacent Swedish defense.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Haaland 2+ shots on target at +140 vs Ivory Coast. Relentless in front of goal even against elite defenses.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Mexico clean sheet vs Ecuador at +105. Perfect defensive record meets a toothless Ecuador attack at altitude in the Azteca.
Mbappé vs Haaland. The two best strikers in the world on the same day. Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
Canada beat South Africa 1-0 yesterday to open the knockout round. The group stage is done. From here every match is win or go home. Today brings three enormous matches — and this is where the prop markets really come into their own. We're not just betting on outcomes anymore. We're identifying the most likely goal scorers, the highest shots-on-target floors, and the players who will define these matches. Let's dig in.
🇧🇷 Brazil vs Japan 🇯🇵 — 1:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
To Advance: Brazil -320, Japan +245. Moneyline: Brazil -145, Draw +280, Japan +420.
Japan beat Brazil 3-2 in a friendly last October and drew with Netherlands in the group stage — they are not here to make up numbers. Brazil have Raphinha out injured but Vinícius Jr has scored in all three group games with four goals total — the tournament's leading scorer. The roof at NRG Stadium will be closed keeping it at 22°C — ideal conditions for Brazil's high-intensity game.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Vinícius Jr anytime scorer +140 — The standout prop of the day. Scored in all 3 group games, tournament's top scorer with 4 goals, Japan's right side is their most vulnerable channel. This is the clearest single prop in the entire Round of 32.
⚽ Vinícius Jr first goal scorer +360 — For those who want bigger juice. He opens the scoring frequently and Japan will struggle to contain him early.
⚽ Matheus Cunha anytime scorer +185 — Three goals in the group stage, strong value at that price. Brazil's second most likely scorer.
⚽ Ayase Ueda anytime scorer +300 — Japan's most dangerous attacker. Two goals in the group stage. Both teams to score is strongly supported by the data — Japan have scored in their last 8 international matches and Brazil have conceded in 7 of their last 10.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Vinícius Jr 1+ shots on target -150 — The safest parlay foundation in this match. He averaged 3.3 shots per game in the group stage with 2+ on target in 2 of 3 games.
🎯 Vinícius Jr 2+ shots on target +107 — Excellent value. Brazil registered 9 shots on target against Scotland alone. Vini generates volume.
🎯 Keito Nakamura 1+ shots on target +175 — Japan's most creative attacker with 5 shots in 3 group games. Scored against Netherlands and Brazil in the October friendly. Value play if you want Japan representation in your card.
🇩🇪 Germany vs Paraguay 🇵🇾 — 4:30 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Boston
To Advance: Germany -950, Paraguay +600. Moneyline: Germany -340, Draw +440, Paraguay +1000.
Germany won Group E with 7 goals in 3 games. Paraguay advanced as a third-place team after losing 4-1 to USA, beating Turkey 1-0, and drawing 0-0 with Australia. There is a massive quality gap here. Germany should win comfortably — but note that Ecuador stunned Germany 2-1 in the final group game, so there are questions about their defensive solidity from corners and set pieces.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Kai Havertz anytime scorer +175 — Germany's primary striker. Scored twice in the group stage including against Ivory Coast. Paraguay's defense is well-organized but Havertz's movement in behind will create chances.
⚽ Jamal Musiala anytime scorer +200 — Germany's most creative player. Three assists and a goal in the group stage. His dribbling through tight spaces will punish Paraguay's low block.
⚽ Florian Wirtz anytime scorer +210 — Outstanding in the group stage. Germany's midfield trio of Musiala, Wirtz, and Kroos have been exceptional. Paraguay will be overwhelmed in midfield.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Kai Havertz 2+ shots on target +145 — Germany averaged 8.3 shots on target per game in the group stage. Havertz averages 3+ attempts per game. Strong value.
🎯 Germany Over 4.5 total shots on target -120 — Against Paraguay's sit-deep defensive setup, Germany will generate enormous volume. They had 9 SOT against Curaçao and 7 against Ivory Coast.
🇳🇱 Netherlands vs Morocco 🇲🇦 — 9:00 PM ET, Estadio BBVA, Monterrey
To Advance: Netherlands -164, Morocco +134. Moneyline: Netherlands +120, Draw +210, Morocco +270.
The match of the day and tonight's most difficult to call. Morocco beat Scotland, beat Haiti, and drew Brazil 1-1 — they are a genuine elite defensive unit. Netherlands drew Japan 2-2, demolished Sweden 5-1, and beat Tunisia 3-1 — inconsistent but devastating when on form. To advance odds say Netherlands -164 but the MONEYLINE has Morocco at +270 — meaning Morocco winning in 90 mins is a very live option. This match could easily go to extra time.
🎯 Goal Scorer Props:
⚽ Xavi Simons anytime scorer +200 — Netherlands' most creative attacker. Scored in the group stage and creates chances from deep. Morocco's defensive shape will be tested by his movement.
⚽ Cody Gakpo anytime scorer +220 — Liverpool's in-form forward has been a threat all tournament. Good in transitions which is exactly what Netherlands will need against Morocco's organized block.
⚽ Youssef En-Nesyri anytime scorer +280 — Morocco's aerial threat. A set piece from Morocco could be lethal — they are excellent from corners and free kicks. Netherlands have been vulnerable to set pieces.
📊 Shots on Target Props:
🎯 Virgil Van Dijk 1+ shots on target +190 — Van Dijk is a set piece threat and steps up in knockout games. Morocco will struggle to deal with his physicality from corners.
🎯 Draw at 90 mins +210 — The best value play on the board tonight. Morocco have the defensive quality to keep it level and this match has extra time written all over it. Back the draw at +210 if you want an outright position.
🏆 PLAY OF THE DAY: Vinícius Jr anytime scorer vs Japan at +140. Four goals in three games, tournament's top scorer, Japan's most exposed defensive channel. The most confident single prop in the Round of 32.
📊 SHOTS ON TARGET PLAY OF THE DAY: Vinícius Jr 2+ shots on target at +107. Exceptional value for a player who generated 9 shots on target across three group games in a stadium with a closed roof.
💰 VALUE PLAY OF THE DAY: Netherlands vs Morocco draw at +210. Morocco are an elite defensive side and this match is far more competitive than the to-advance prices suggest.
Compare all lines and props across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. The knockout stage is here. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
Yesterday was extraordinary. Dembélé scored a hat trick as France demolished Norway 4-1 in the match of the tournament so far — Ousmane Dembélé, of all people, looking like the most dangerous player at the World Cup. Spain beat Uruguay 1-0. Belgium finally clicked against New Zealand, winning 3-1. And Cape Verde drew with Saudi Arabia to clinch second place in Group H — the smallest nation ever to reach the World Cup knockouts in their debut. Remarkable.
Today is the final day of the group stage. Six matches, three groups decided, and the Round of 32 begins tomorrow. Every result today has knockout implications. Here is your complete advancement guide.
📊 ADVANCEMENT GUIDE FOR TODAY:
Group L (England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama): England are THROUGH with 4 pts. Ghana are THROUGH with 4 pts. Croatia have 3 pts — they need a win vs Ghana to guarantee advancement, or a draw if Panama beats England. Panama are eliminated.
Group K (Colombia, Portugal, DR Congo, Uzbekistan): Colombia are THROUGH as group leaders with 6 pts. Portugal are THROUGH with 7 pts. DR Congo have 1 pt — need a big win over Uzbekistan AND Colombia to lose to Portugal to sneak through as a third-place team. Uzbekistan are eliminated.
Group J (Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan): Argentina are THROUGH as group winners with 6 pts. Algeria are THROUGH with 3 pts. Austria have 3 pts — they play Algeria tonight in a winner-takes-all for second place. Jordan are eliminated after two heavy losses.
🇵🇦 Panama vs England 🏴 — 5:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford
England -450, draw +700, Panama +1200. England are through but a win today clinches top spot in Group L — which matters for the knockout bracket. Panama are already eliminated. England won 4-2 against Croatia then drew 0-0 with Ghana in a flat performance. Tuchel needs England to rediscover their early form today. Panama have no incentive to defend and England should put on a show. England to win at -450 is unbackable at the price. England to win and Over 3.5 goals at around -115 is the only value play — Kane needs goals, Bellingham needs a statement, and Saka has been outstanding. Best prop: Harry Kane first goal scorer at +275. He's been clinical and Panama will present a much more open game than Ghana did.
🇭🇷 Croatia vs Ghana 🇬🇭 — 5:00 PM ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
Croatia -118, draw +265, Ghana +320. The match of the 5pm slot and one with genuine stakes. Ghana have 4 points and are already through — but a win today clinches second place. Croatia have 3 points and need a win to guarantee advancement. If Croatia draw or lose and England win, Croatia are out unless they sneak through as a third-place team. Modric's last World Cup. Croatia are motivated, experienced, and always dangerous in knockout pressure situations. Ghana will be aware of what's at stake but have less urgency. Croatia -118 is today's best straightforward bet — their knockout experience and Modric's desperation to go deeper make them the right call. Croatia to win at -118 is clean value.
🇨🇴 Colombia vs Portugal 🇵🇹 — 7:30 PM ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami
Colombia -110, draw +270, Portugal +300. The most intriguing match of the day. Both teams are through. Colombia lead the group with 6 pts, Portugal have 7 pts — but Colombia lead on current points in the group so the winner takes first place. Portugal have Ronaldo who scored a brace against Uzbekistan and will want a strong finish to the group stage. Colombia have Luis Díaz, James Rodríguez, and a team that has been brilliant in this tournament. This is a genuine 50/50 that determines the easier bracket path. Colombia -110 is modest value. Portugal at +300 is worth a look — Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes at full throttle is a difficult proposition for anyone. Draw at +270 is live if both teams protect what they have. Best prop: Ronaldo anytime scorer at +200.
🇨🇩 DR Congo vs Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 — 7:30 PM ET, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
DR Congo -200, draw +310, Uzbekistan +550. DR Congo have 1 point and need a big win AND Colombia to beat Portugal to have any chance of sneaking through as a third-place team. Uzbekistan are eliminated. DR Congo to win is the straightforward call — they have Yoane Wissa and need goals. DR Congo to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -120 is the play. DR Congo need goals for goal difference and Uzbekistan have none left to play for. This match should be relatively open.
🇩🇿 Algeria vs Austria 🇦🇹 — 10:00 PM ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
Algeria -115, draw +265, Austria +280. WINNER TAKES ALL for second place in Group J. Algeria have 3 pts, Austria have 3 pts — whoever wins tonight advances automatically. Algeria beat Jordan 2-1 in their second game after losing to Argentina. Austria beat Jordan 3-1 and lost 1-0 to Argentina. Both teams have quality — Algeria have Bennacer and Aouar in midfield, Austria have David Alaba and Marcel Sabitzer. Algeria -115 is modest value. Austria at +280 is today's best value price in this slot — they beat Jordan more convincingly and their squad depth across the 90 minutes is arguably better. This is too close to call but Algeria -115 is the narrow play. Match of the night.
🇯🇴 Jordan vs Argentina 🇦🇷 — 10:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
Argentina -600, draw +800, Jordan +1600. Argentina won the group with 6 points and will rest Messi tonight to protect the GOAT for the knockout rounds. Jordan lost 3-0 to Argentina and 2-1 to Algeria — they are eliminated. This is a complete dead rubber for Argentina. A rotated Argentina without Messi at -600 is not a bet. The smart play is Jordan +1600 as a tiny flutter if you think a heavily rotated Argentina let their guard down, or Under 2.5 goals at around -145 — Argentina will not overextend without their main players and Jordan will defend deep.
Best bet of the day: Croatia -118 vs Ghana. Modric's last World Cup, tournament experience, and the desperation of needing a win makes Croatia the right side in this match.
Best value: Austria +280 vs Algeria. Both have identical records, Austria beat Jordan more convincingly, and +280 is too generous for a team of their quality.
Best prop: Kane first goal scorer vs Panama at +275. Panama are wide open and Kane has been in lethal form all tournament.
Dead rubber play: Jordan vs Argentina Under 2.5 goals at -145. Argentina will rest Messi and their key players. Expect a quiet, professional performance.
The last day of the group stage. After tonight the Round of 32 begins. Compare all lines across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
What a night yesterday. Ecuador pulled off the shock of the group stage — beating Germany 2-1 in New Jersey. Ivory Coast beat Curaçao 2-0. Japan and Sweden drew 1-1 with both teams advancing from Group F. Paraguay and Australia played out a mutually beneficial 0-0 draw — both advance. Netherlands beat Tunisia 3-1 and top Group F. And the night's most dramatic moment — Türkiye beat the USA 3-2 with a goal in the 9th minute of stoppage time. The Americans still top Group D and advance — but Pochettino will have serious questions to answer about the defense. The group stage is almost done and today brings the final six matches — Groups G, H, and I all conclude. Here's who is through, who needs what, and the best bets on the board.
📊 ADVANCEMENT GUIDE FOR TODAY:
Group I (France, Norway, Senegal, Iraq): France have 6 pts, Norway have 6 pts — both are THROUGH. Today's match decides who tops the group. Senegal have 3 pts and need to beat Iraq AND hope Norway beat France to advance as third. Iraq are eliminated.
Group H (Spain, Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay): Spain have 7 pts and are THROUGH as group winners. Uruguay have 4 pts and are through. Cape Verde have 2 pts — they need to beat Saudi Arabia AND Uruguay must lose to Spain to advance. Saudi Arabia are eliminated.
Group G (Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand): Belgium have 5 pts and are THROUGH. Egypt have 6 pts and are THROUGH as group winners. Iran have 2 pts — they need to beat Egypt AND New Zealand must lose to Belgium to advance as a third-place team. New Zealand are effectively eliminated but can fight for pride.
🇳🇴 Norway vs France 🇫🇷 — 3:00 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Boston
Norway +350, draw +280, France -120. The match of the day and one of the most compelling fixtures of the entire group stage. Both teams are through — this match decides who tops Group I and gets an easier path through the bracket. France have beaten Senegal 3-1 and Iraq 3-0. Norway beat Iraq 4-1 and Senegal 3-2. This is a genuine top-of-the-group battle between two in-form sides. Haaland vs the French defense. Mbappé vs the Norwegian backline. France -120 is modest favorite pricing for the tournament favorites. But Norway at +350 is outstanding value — they've been brilliant in this tournament and Haaland is in irresistible form. Norway to win at +350 is today's best longshot. Draw at +280 is live if both teams know a draw clinches top for France on goal difference. Best prop: Haaland anytime scorer at +125 — he has scored in both group games and France's defense has been exposed by pace.
🇸🇳 Senegal vs Iraq 🇮🇶 — 3:00 PM ET, BMO Field, Toronto
Senegal -350, draw +450, Iraq +900. Senegal need to win and hope Norway beat France to have any chance of advancing as a third-place team. Iraq are eliminated. Senegal to win at -350 is the only play — they have quality with Mané and will push hard for a big win to boost their goal difference as a potential third-place team. Senegal to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -130 — they need goals and Iraq have conceded five in two games. Don't overcomplicate this one.
🇺🇾 Uruguay vs Spain 🇪🇸 — 8:00 PM ET, Estadio Akron, Guadalajara
Uruguay +310, draw +260, Spain -110. Spain are through as group winners but Uruguay are too — this match decides second place in Group H. Spain demolished Saudi Arabia 4-0 in their second game after the Cape Verde shock. Uruguay drew Saudi Arabia 1-1 and drew Cape Verde 2-2 in a nervy display. Spain -110 is the price — modest for the tournament favorites. Lamine Yamal is back in form after scoring against Saudi Arabia. However Uruguay have Darwin Nunez, Valverde, and Bentancur — they are a genuine title contender. Uruguay at +310 is today's best value play in this slot — they are through regardless and will want to avoid Spain's potential opponents. Both teams know the stakes. Uruguay draw no bet at +175 is the sharpest play.
🇨🇻 Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 — 8:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
Cape Verde -145, draw +290, Saudi Arabia +380. Cape Verde need to win AND Uruguay must beat Spain to advance. Saudi Arabia are eliminated after their 4-0 hammering by Spain. Cape Verde are genuine heroes of this tournament — they held Spain 0-0 and their goalkeeper Vozinha went viral globally. They will fight hard today but the margin for error is almost zero with the Uruguay/Spain result also mattering. Cape Verde -145 is reasonable but the path is incredibly narrow. This match will be played simultaneously with Uruguay vs Spain so both sets of fans will have one eye on the other result.
🇳🇿 New Zealand vs Belgium 🇧🇪 — 11:00 PM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
New Zealand +700, draw +450, Belgium -250. Belgium are through. Egypt are group winners. New Zealand are eliminated. Belgium drew 1-1 with Egypt and drew 0-0 with Iran — they have been underwhelming. This is a chance for Belgium to close out the group with a confidence-boosting win. De Bruyne and Lukaku need 90 minutes together before the knockouts. Belgium to win at -250 is fine. Belgium to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -115 if you want more value — New Zealand have conceded four in this tournament and Belgium need a confidence builder.
🇪🇬 Egypt vs Iran 🇮🇷 — 11:00 PM ET, Lumen Field, Seattle
Egypt -190, draw +310, Iran +500. Egypt are group winners with 6 pts. Iran have 2 pts and need to win AND Belgium must lose to New Zealand to advance as a third-place team — effectively impossible. This is a dead rubber for Egypt who are already through. Expect Egypt to rest key players ahead of the knockouts. Iran at +500 is genuinely interesting given Egypt will likely rotate — getting 5-to-1 on a team playing against a rotated side is worth a small play. Egypt to win is still the call at -190 but the dead rubber angle makes this less certain than the price suggests. Under 2.5 goals at around -130 if you want to back the rotated Egypt to keep it quiet.
Best bet of the day: Uruguay draw no bet vs Spain at +175. Both teams are through, Uruguay have world-class quality, and Spain are the tournament's most inconsistent side after that Cape Verde shock.
Best longshot: Norway +350 vs France. Haaland in this form against any defense is dangerous. Norway have been brilliant in this tournament.
Best prop: Haaland anytime scorer vs France at +125. He has scored in every group game and this is his biggest stage yet.
Six final group stage matches. Groups G, H, and I all decided tonight. After today the Round of 32 begins. Compare all lines across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck. ⚽🏆
What a night yesterday. South Africa beat South Korea 1-0 in one of the tournament's biggest shocks to advance to the knockout stage for the very first time in their history. Mexico crushed Czechia 3-0 and are now one of the form teams in the tournament. Scotland drew Brazil 1-1 — enough to keep their hopes alive as a best third-place team. Today brings the final round of Group D, E, and F — and every single match matters for advancement.
📊 ADVANCEMENT GUIDE FOR TODAY:
Group E: Germany are through as Group E winners. Ivory Coast need a win or draw vs Curaçao to advance automatically. Ecuador must beat Germany AND Ivory Coast must lose to have any chance.
Group F: Netherlands are through. Japan need only a draw vs Sweden to advance. Sweden must win to guarantee advancement. A Sweden win + Netherlands loss to Tunisia could see Sweden top the group.
Group D: USA have already won Group D. Türkiye (0 pts) are eliminated. Paraguay (3 pts) and Australia (3 pts) are both fighting for second place and the last automatic spot — they play each other tonight in a winner-takes-all match.
🇪🇨 Ecuador vs Germany 🇩🇪 — 4:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, New York/NJ
Ecuador +280, draw +320, Germany -110. Ecuador drew 0-0 with Curaçao in their second match — a result that has left them needing a miracle. Germany beat Ivory Coast with a last-gasp winner to clinch Group E. Germany are through and may rotate. Ecuador +280 is today's most interesting bet — Germany have nothing to play for and Ecuador need a win to stay alive. If Germany rotate significantly Ecuador +280 has real value. Germany to win remains the mathematical favorite but this is far from a certainty. Ecuador to win and advance is alive — back them at +280.
🇨🇼 Curaçao vs Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 — 4:00 PM ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
Curaçao +2000, draw +750, Ivory Coast -650. Ivory Coast need a win or draw to advance automatically — they won their head-to-head against Ecuador and have 4 points. A draw secures them. Curaçao have been eliminated since their 7-1 loss to Germany. Ivory Coast -650 is justified — they simply need not to lose. The only value here is Ivory Coast to win at around -350 rather than taking the moneyline at -650. Ivory Coast should handle this but they know a draw is enough, which could make them cautious. Haller anytime scorer around +140 if you want a prop play.
🇯🇵 Japan vs Sweden 🇸🇪 — 7:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
Japan -130, draw +270, Sweden +380. Japan need just a draw to advance. Sweden must win. Netherlands beat Sweden 5-1 in the second game — that result has left Sweden needing a win here and hoping Netherlands slip up against Tunisia. Japan -130 is a solid play — they are the better side and need only a point. The interesting angle is Sweden at +380 — they have everything to play for, Alexander Isak is dangerous, and Japan might sit deep knowing a draw is enough. This has the makings of Japan going ahead early and Sweden chasing it. Japan to win at -130 is the safe play. Draw at +270 is interesting if you think Japan protect their lead. But if Sweden win the group could get wild with goal differences coming into play.
🇹🇳 Tunisia vs Netherlands 🇳🇱 — 7:00 PM ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
Tunisia +500, draw +350, Netherlands -175. Netherlands drew Japan 2-2 then smashed Sweden 5-1 — they are through as Group F leaders. Tunisia lost 5-1 to Sweden and 4-0 to Japan — they are eliminated and this is their last match. Netherlands at -175 is fine but the interesting play is Netherlands to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -120 — they are in devastating form and Tunisia are in freefall. Netherlands have Van Dijk, Simons, and Gakpo all firing. Run the scoreline up.
🇺🇸 USA vs Türkiye 🇹🇷 — 10:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles
USA -165, draw +310, Türkiye +450. The USA have already won Group D and are through. Türkiye are eliminated — they lost to Australia and Paraguay and have zero points. This is effectively a dead rubber for both teams. USA -165 is fine if you want to back the hosts to close out the group with a win. But here's the sharp angle — expect Pochettino to rest key players for the knockout stage. Rotated USA might make Türkiye +450 an interesting play if you think Turkey want to salvage pride. USA win is the default but this match has all the hallmarks of a low-scoring, uninspiring dead rubber. Under 2.5 goals at around -140 is probably the sharpest play here.
🇵🇾 Paraguay vs Australia 🇦🇺 — 10:00 PM ET, Levi's Stadium, San Francisco
Paraguay +290, draw +240, Australia -115. THIS is the match of the day. Paraguay have 3 points, Australia have 3 points — winner advances to the Round of 32 automatically. Paraguay beat Türkiye 1-0, lost 4-1 to USA. Australia beat Türkiye 2-0, lost 2-0 to USA. Australia are slight favorites at -115 but this is as close as it gets. Australia have been the better team in this tournament but Paraguay are battle-hardened and desperate. The draw at +240 is live — if it stays level both could advance as third-place teams depending on other results. Australia -115 is the play but Paraguay +290 is outstanding value if you think they have the defensive quality to nick a result. This is the match you want to be watching tonight. Whoever wins this — back them all the way in the knockout stage.
Best bet of the day: Paraguay +290 vs Australia. Winner-takes-all match, two evenly matched teams, and Paraguay at nearly 3-to-1 is exceptional value.
Best value: Ecuador +280 vs Germany. Germany are through and will rotate — Ecuador need a win and are motivated. That price is too long for a rotated German side.
Safest play: USA vs Türkiye Under 2.5 goals at -140. Dead rubber, rotated lineups, and two teams with nothing meaningful to play for.
Six matches. Three groups decided tonight. Compare all lines across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck. ⚽🏆
What a day yesterday. Ronaldo silenced every critic with a brace in Portugal's stunning 5-0 rout of Uzbekistan. England were held 0-0 by Ghana in a match that raises serious questions ahead of the knockout stage. Panama beat Croatia 1-0 in a shock result. Colombia edged DR Congo 1-0. And today — SIX matches, all with massive knockout implications. Grab a coffee. It's going to be a long and brilliant day.
🇨🇭 Switzerland vs Canada 🇨🇦 — 3:00 PM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
Switzerland +140, draw +230, Canada +235. The most evenly priced match of the day and arguably of the entire group stage. Switzerland beat Bosnia 4-1 in their second game and lead Group B. Canada crushed Qatar 6-0 after their opening draw. Both teams have 4 points and are effectively playing for top spot — though both are likely through already. Switzerland are slight favorites at +140 but this is genuinely a coin flip. Canada at home in Vancouver with Alphonso Davies in the crowd will have enormous support. Draw at +230 is live — both teams might not go for broke if they're already through. Canada +235 is the best value price on the board right now if you think the home crowd and Davies give them the edge.
🇧🇦 Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Qatar 🇶🇦 — 3:00 PM ET, Lumen Field, Seattle
Bosnia -245, draw +425, Qatar +650. Bosnia drew with Canada and lost 4-1 to Switzerland — they need a win and a favor elsewhere to advance. Qatar drew with Switzerland and were hammered 6-0 by Canada. Bosnia should win this comfortably. Bosnia -245 is the straightforward play. Bosnia to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -120 given Bosnia's desperation for goals to help with goal difference.
🏴 Scotland vs Brazil 🇧🇷 — 6:00 PM ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami
Scotland +850, draw +450, Brazil -275. Scotland beat Haiti and drew Morocco — they're alive and need a result against Brazil to have any chance of sneaking through as a best third-place team. Brazil drew Morocco and beat Haiti 3-0 — they are through regardless. Brazil -275 is the play but Scotland +850 is today's most intriguing longshot. Brazil might rotate given they're already through and Scotland could catch them cold. ESPN notes Scotland are looking to "give fans a historic party" in Miami. The draw at +450 is actually live — Brazil have little to play for and Scotland will throw everything at them. Scotland draw no bet at around +300 is the sharp play if you're feeling brave.
🇲🇦 Morocco vs Haiti 🇭🇹 — 6:00 PM ET, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Morocco -500, draw +650, Haiti +1600. Morocco drew Brazil and beat Scotland 1-0 — they are through and likely top the group. Haiti are eliminated. Morocco -500 is unbackable at that price. Morocco to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -140 is the only value play — Morocco will want to build momentum heading into the knockout stage and Haiti have no defensive quality left after a draining group stage.
🇨🇿 Czechia vs Mexico 🇲🇽 — 9:00 PM ET, Estadio Azteca, Mexico City
Czechia +285, draw +300, Mexico -105. Mexico are already through but this match decides top spot in Group A. Mexico have beaten South Africa and South Korea — they are in excellent form. At the Azteca, the altitude advantage, and -105 pricing — Mexico are barely favorites despite being in outstanding form. Czechia drew South Africa 1-1 and lost to South Korea. Mexico -105 at the Azteca is one of the best value bets of the entire tournament. The home crowd will be electric. Mexico to win at -105 is today's best value play — you're getting near-evens on a team that has won both their previous games at altitude at home.
🇿🇦 South Africa vs South Korea 🇰🇷 — 9:00 PM ET, Estadio BBVA, Monterrey
South Africa +450, draw +295, South Korea -150. Son Heung-min and South Korea need a result to guarantee second place in Group A. South Africa drew Czechia 1-1 after losing their opener to Mexico — they're not done yet and a win could see them sneak through as a best third-place team. South Korea -150 is the safe play. However the draw at +295 is worth considering — South Africa have nothing to lose and could make this very uncomfortable for Son's side.
Best bet of the day: Mexico -105 vs Czechia at the Azteca. Near-evens on a team that has won both their games in this tournament. Extraordinary value at home altitude.
Best longshot: Scotland draw no bet vs Brazil at +300. Brazil are through and may rotate. Scotland will throw everything at them in Miami.
Best value: Canada +235 vs Switzerland in Vancouver. Home crowd, Alphonso Davies connection, and near-evens pricing on a team that just scored six goals.
Six matches. Groups B, C, and A all decided today. Compare all lines across 5 books at cupedgenow.com. Good luck today. ⚽🏆
The tournament's biggest talking point overnight is the Ronaldo situation. While Messi scored a hat trick, Mbappé scored twice, Haaland scored twice, and Kane scored twice in his opener — Ronaldo was completely invisible in Portugal's 1-1 draw with DR Congo. ESPN's Dawson wrote "Four years later, same debate for Portugal: Why is Ronaldo still starting?" The pressure today is immense. Portugal need a big win and the world is watching whether Ronaldo can respond.
🇵🇹 Portugal vs Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 — 1:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
Portugal -525, draw +600, Uzbekistan +1250. Portugal MUST win this match and they know it. A second dropped points result would put their Round of 32 hopes in serious jeopardy heading into a final group game against Colombia. Uzbekistan lost 3-1 to Colombia in their opener — they are beatable. Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, and Rafael Leão are all better than Ronaldo right now and Portugal will likely rely on them to do the damage. Don't back Portugal at -525 on the ML. The plays are: Portugal to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -175, and Bernardo Silva anytime scorer at +220. Best prop of the day: Ronaldo anytime scorer at +180 — the occasion and the pressure will drive him. If he scores expect maximum social media chaos.
🏴 England vs Ghana 🇬🇭 — 4:00 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Boston
England -300, draw +400, Ghana +800. England demolished Croatia 4-2 in their opener — Kane scored twice, Bellingham was outstanding, and Saka ran the show. Ghana beat Panama 1-0 in a tight match. England are in superb form and Ghana simply don't have the quality to contain this England attack at full throttle. England to win at -300 is fine but not thrilling. The value play is England to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -140 — England scored four last time and Ghana will leave space on the counter. Kane first goal scorer at +280 is worth a small play — he's in the form of his life and Ghana will be defending deep.
🇵🇦 Panama vs Croatia 🇭🇷 — 7:00 PM ET, BMO Field, Toronto
Croatia -188, draw +300, Panama +500. Croatia lost 4-2 to England in their opener — a chastening result. Panama lost 1-0 to Ghana. Both teams are under pressure. Croatia have Luka Modric on what could be his final World Cup appearance — the 40-year-old is still magical but Croatia were physically overwhelmed by England. Panama will set up defensively and make this difficult. Croatia to win at -188 is the play. However the draw at +300 is live if you think Croatia are mentally deflated after that England loss. This is today's most unpredictable match. Croatia win and Under 2.5 goals at around -115 is the safest version of the bet.
🇨🇴 Colombia vs DR Congo 🇨🇩 — 10:00 PM ET, Estadio Akron, Guadalajara
Colombia are strong favorites. They beat Uzbekistan 3-1 in their opener with Luis Díaz, James Rodríguez, and Cuadrado all contributing. DR Congo drew 1-1 with Portugal — a result that surprised everyone and showed they have defensive quality and goal threat with Yoane Wissa up front. Colombia -300 to -350 is the price range. Colombia to win is the comfortable play. The interesting angle is DR Congo to score at least once — they did it against Portugal and Wissa is a quality Premier League striker. Both teams to score at around +100 is excellent value here.
Best bet of the day: England to win and Over 2.5 goals vs Ghana at -140. England are in devastating form and Ghana don't have the defensive quality to contain Kane, Bellingham, and Saka.
Best prop: Ronaldo anytime scorer vs Uzbekistan at +180. The pressure, the moment, and the occasion. If he scores it will be the biggest story of the tournament. If he doesn't, the debate intensifies.
Best value: Colombia vs DR Congo both teams to score at +100. DR Congo scored against Portugal. Wissa is dangerous. Colombia like to attack. This is genuinely live.

What a weekend. Messi scored a hat trick in Argentina's 3-0 win over Algeria. France beat Senegal 3-1 and are now the clear World Cup favorites at around 19% implied probability — ahead of Spain who are sliding after two dropped points. The USA are already through. This tournament is delivering at every level and today gives us four more matches including the two biggest stars in the game right now: Messi and Haaland.
🇦🇷 Argentina vs Austria 🇦🇹 — 1:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
Argentina -167, draw +280, Austria +450. Messi is in the form of his life right now — three goals in the opener, tournament on home soil, the chance to go back-to-back. Argentina are humming. Austria beat Jordan 3-1 in their opener and are a well-organized European side who will make this harder than the price suggests. They're not Jordan. Argentina -167 is solid value for the reigning champions in this form. Lautaro Martínez anytime scorer at around +140 is the prop play — Messi will draw attention and Lautaro will find space. Argentina to win and Over 2.5 goals at -115 is the value combination.
🇫🇷 France vs Iraq 🇮🇶 — 5:00 PM ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
France -1000, draw +850, Iraq +2000. France are the World Cup favorites and Iraq are ranked well outside the top 60. This is the most lopsided match of the day — possibly of the entire group stage. Mbappé scored twice against Senegal and will be hunting his Golden Boot. Don't touch the moneyline at -1000. The play here is France to win and Over 3.5 goals at around -106 — experts are backing this strongly. Mbappé first goal scorer at around +180 is also an outstanding prop. France will not hold back against Iraq and Deschamps will want a big goal difference.
🇳🇴 Norway vs Senegal 🇸🇳 — 8:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, New York/NJ
Norway +110, draw +230, Senegal +250. This is today's most intriguing match by a distance. Norway lost 4-1 to Iraq in their opener — wait, that's wrong, Norway beat Iraq 4-1 and Haaland scored. Senegal lost 3-1 to France. Both teams need a win to stay on track for the knockout stage. This is essentially a must-win for both sides. Norway are slight favorites at +110 — getting plus money on a team with Haaland in this form is remarkable value. Haaland anytime scorer at +115 is today's best prop — experts are backing this specifically. Norway to win at +110 is today's standout bet. A genuinely even match priced fairly with massive knockout implications.
🇯🇴 Jordan vs Algeria 🇩🇿 — 11:00 PM ET, Levi's Stadium, San Francisco
Algeria -209, draw +290, Jordan +650. Algeria lost 3-0 to Messi's Argentina in their opener — that scoreline flatters them slightly, they had chances. Jordan lost 3-1 to Austria. Algeria are the significantly better side and need a win to stay in contention. Algeria -209 is the play — their quality in midfield with Bennacer and Aouar is too much for Jordan. Algeria to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -115 makes sense — both teams need goals and neither can afford to play for a draw.
Best bet of the day: Norway +110 vs Senegal. Getting plus money on a team with Erling Haaland — the best striker in the world — in a match this important is extraordinary value.
Best prop: Haaland anytime scorer vs Senegal at +115. He scored against Iraq and Senegal are not defensively as tight as Iraq were. He will score tonight.
Best value: France vs Iraq Over 3.5 goals at -106. France are the tournament favorites, Mbappé is hunting the Golden Boot, and Iraq are ranked outside the top 60.

Before we get to today — USA and Mexico have both clinched their spots in the Round of 32. The two North American host nations are through with a game to spare. Meanwhile Spain are in genuine crisis after that 0-0 draw with Cape Verde — and the Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha went viral overnight gaining 14 million followers. This tournament never stops delivering.
🇪🇸 Spain vs Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 — 12:00 PM ET, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Spain -1000, draw +900, Saudi Arabia +1800. Spain are under enormous pressure after that 0-0 draw with Cape Verde. Lamine Yamal needs to step up today — the 17-year-old was invisible in the opener. Saudi Arabia drew 1-1 with Uruguay which is a decent result but they are nowhere near Spain's quality level. Spain will score today — the question is how many. Spain to win at -1000 is unbackable at that price. The value plays are Over 2.5 goals at around -175 and Yamal anytime scorer at around +220. Spain need to prove themselves today and Saudi Arabia are the perfect opponent for them to do it against. Do not overthink this one.
🇧🇪 Belgium vs Iran 🇮🇷 — 3:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles
Belgium -250, draw +375, Iran +600. Belgium drew 1-1 with Egypt in a match where Lukaku finally stepped up and scored. Iran drew 2-2 with New Zealand — an entertaining match that showed Iran can score but also concede. Belgium are the significantly better side and cannot afford another dropped point if they want to advance comfortably. De Bruyne and Lukaku at full throttle against an Iran side that leaks goals is a recipe for a Belgium win. Belgium to win at -250 is reasonable. Belgium to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -115 is the value play — both teams have shown they can score and Belgium need a statement result today.
🇺🇾 Uruguay vs Cape Verde 🇨🇻 — 6:00 PM ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami
Uruguay -223, draw +333, Cape Verde +600. Uruguay drew 1-1 with Saudi Arabia in their opener. Cape Verde held Spain to a 0-0 draw — remarkable and the talk of the tournament. Don't let that result fool you into backing Cape Verde here though. Uruguay have Darwin Nunez, Valverde, and Bentancur — they are a legitimate dark horse contender. Cape Verde got lucky with Vozinha's heroics against Spain. Against Uruguay's firepower at the front they will not be able to hold out. Uruguay to win at -223 is the play. Uruguay to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -105 is the value — Nunez has been quiet so far and this is his match to deliver.
🇳🇿 New Zealand vs Egypt 🇪🇬 — 9:00 PM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
New Zealand +400, draw +250, Egypt -138. Egypt drew 1-1 with Belgium in their opener — Salah scored from the spot. New Zealand drew 2-2 with Iran in a chaotic match. Egypt are the better side and favorites at -138. Salah will be motivated to deliver tonight. Egypt to win at -138 is fine value. Both teams to score is also a strong play at around -115 given both games in this group so far have had multiple goals. Egypt win and both teams to score at around +100 is the value combination play of the night.
Best bet of the day: Belgium to win and Over 2.5 goals vs Iran at -115. Belgium are desperate, Lukaku is in form, and Iran conceded twice against New Zealand.
Best prop: Lamine Yamal anytime scorer vs Saudi Arabia at +220. Spain need their best player to show up today and this is the perfect stage for him to do it.

Before we get to today — USA beat Australia yesterday to go 2-0 in the group. Brazil put six past Haiti. Scotland held Morocco to a draw in a genuine upset. Türkiye beat Paraguay to stay alive. The group stage is delivering drama every single day. Today brings four matches from Groups E and F — and two of them are absolutely must-watch.
🇳🇱 Netherlands vs Sweden 🇸🇪 — 1:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
Netherlands drew 2-2 with Japan in their opener — a result that raised eyebrows given the quality gap on paper. Sweden crushed Tunisia 5-1. Sweden are in excellent form and Alexander Isak was unstoppable in that opener. Netherlands are under pressure to win this one. Netherlands -155 to -175, draw +320, Sweden +450. The interesting play here is Sweden at +450 — after a 5-1 opening win they are genuinely in form. Netherlands were shaky defensively against Japan. Sweden each way or Sweden to at least not lose — draw no bet Sweden at around +250 — is the sharp play. Netherlands to win but Under 2.5 goals is also solid if you want to back the Dutch.
🇩🇪 Germany vs Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 — 4:00 PM ET, BMO Field, Toronto
The match of the day and arguably the most compelling fixture of the entire group stage so far. Germany beat Curaçao 7-1 in their opener — dominant but that tells us nothing about what they can do against real opposition. Ivory Coast beat Ecuador 1-0 with a disciplined defensive display. Germany -155 to -175, draw +310, Ivory Coast +500. Here's the thing — Ivory Coast are one of Africa's strongest sides with Sebastian Haller, Wilfried Zaha, and Seko Fofana. They won AFCON in 2023. They are not a 500 underdog. This is Germany's real test. Ivory Coast at +500 is today's best value play — not a bet to back with your mortgage but too long for the quality of side they are. Ivory Coast draw no bet at around +250 is the safer version of that bet.
🇪🇨 Ecuador vs Curaçao 🇨🇼 — 8:00 PM ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
Ecuador -700, draw +1100, Curaçao +2000. Ecuador lost their opener 1-0 to Ivory Coast and need a big win to stay in contention in Group E. Curaçao were battered 7-1 by Germany. This is the most straightforward match of the day. Ecuador to win is the only play — the only question is margin. Ecuador to win and Over 3.5 goals at around -120 is the value play. Ecuador need goals for goal difference and Curaçao simply don't have the defensive quality to stop them.
🇹🇳 Tunisia vs Japan 🇯🇵 — 12:00 AM ET, Estadio BBVA, Monterrey
Japan drew 2-2 with Netherlands, Tunisia lost 5-1 to Sweden. Japan need to win to stay in contention for a Round of 32 spot. Japan -155 to -175, draw +290, Tunisia +450. Japan are the better side and have shown they can compete with anyone in this tournament. Tunisia are already in crisis after that 5-1 opening loss. Japan to win at -155 is the play. Son Heung-min... wait, wrong team — Ritsu Doan and Kaoru Mitoma are Japan's dangers. Japan to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -115 makes sense — Tunisia are leaking goals and Japan know how to score.
Best bet of the day: Ivory Coast draw no bet vs Germany at +250. They beat Ecuador, they have elite quality, and Germany are being massively overpriced based on a 7-1 win over the 89th ranked team in the world.
Best value: Sweden +450 vs Netherlands. After a 5-1 opening win against a side that beat Netherlands not long ago, that price is too generous.

Nine days in and this tournament keeps delivering. Yesterday Mexico held South Korea to settle Group A, Canada put three past Qatar at home, and the group standings are starting to take real shape. Today brings four matches including the USA's second game and a Brazil side that needs a statement performance after drawing with Morocco in their opener.
🇺🇸 USA vs Australia 🇦🇺 — 3:00 PM ET, Lumen Field, Seattle
USA -165, draw +340, Australia +425. The USA blew Paraguay away 4-1 in their opener and are flying with confidence. Australia are no pushovers — they beat Türkiye in their opener and have a new generation of attacking talent led by their young star striker. But the USA at home in Seattle with a full head of steam is a difficult proposition. USA to win at -165 is reasonable value for a team in this form. Pulisic will be looking to add to his tournament tally. USA to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -115 is the smart play — this team likes to score and won't be sitting back.
🏴 Scotland vs Morocco 🇲🇦 — 6:00 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Boston
Scotland +450, draw +265, Morocco -135. Scotland beat Haiti in their opener and are now in a must-win situation against Morocco to have any realistic chance of advancing from Group C. Morocco drew with Brazil — that result proves they are a genuinely elite defensive side. Morocco -135 is the play here. Scotland will attack with energy but Morocco's defensive structure is among the best at this tournament. Morocco win at -135 feels like the safest bet on today's board. Scotland +450 is tempting if you fancy a giant-killing but the Morocco defense makes that a tough sell.
🇧🇷 Brazil vs Haiti 🇭🇹 — 8:30 PM ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
Brazil -800, draw +1000, Haiti +2200. Brazil drew with Morocco in their opener which is not a disaster but raised eyebrows. ESPN noted they were bailed out by Vinícius Jr in that match. Tonight they face Haiti — ranked well outside the top 100 — and need a statement performance and a big goal difference to bolster their group position. Brazil to win is a given at -800. The value play is Brazil to win and Over 3.5 goals — Haiti will not be able to contain Vinícius, Rodrygo, and Endrick for 90 minutes. Brazil -2.5 on the Asian handicap at around -130 is the smart play. Vinícius Jr anytime scorer at around -120 is also a near certainty.
🇹🇷 Türkiye vs Paraguay 🇵🇾 — 11:00 PM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
Türkiye +105, draw +240, Paraguay +295. Paraguay lost 4-1 to the USA and are already under pressure. Türkiye lost to Australia in their opener — a shock result that leaves both teams needing a win. Türkiye are the higher quality side on paper and at home comforts in terms of stakes — a loss for either side likely ends their chances of advancing automatically. Türkiye at +105 is exceptional value for a team with their quality. This is today's best bet — getting plus money on Türkiye who are clearly the better side at this stage of the tournament.
Best bet of the day: Türkiye +105 vs Paraguay. Better team, better squad, better recent form — and you're getting plus money.
Best prop: Vinícius Jr anytime scorer vs Haiti at -120. Brazil need goals and he's their most dangerous attacker. Near certain to get at least one tonight.

Before we get to today — what a night yesterday was. Messi dropped a hat trick in Argentina's opener against Algeria. Mbappé and Haaland both scored multiple goals in their debuts. The Golden Boot race is already electric. England beat Croatia 4-2 in a thriller. This tournament is delivering everything we hoped for.
Today brings four critical Group A and B matches — the second round of games where standings start to really take shape.
🇨🇿 Czechia vs South Africa 🇿🇦 — 12:00 PM ET, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Czechia -120, draw +260, South Africa +390. Both teams lost their openers — Czechia 2-1 to South Korea, South Africa 2-0 to Mexico. This is effectively a must-win for both sides to stay in contention for a Round of 32 spot. Czechia have Patrik Schick up front and should have enough quality to edge this. South Africa are battling though — they were competitive against Mexico. Czechia to win at -120 is fine value for a team that needs a result desperately. Schick anytime scorer at around +160 is the prop play.
🇨🇭 Switzerland vs Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦 — 3:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles
Switzerland -180, draw +320, Bosnia +500. Switzerland drew 1-1 with Qatar in a result that blew Group B wide open. Canada drew 1-1 with Bosnia in the opener. Switzerland need to win to assert control of the group. Bosnia are a tough defensive side and already have a point to their name — they'll be happy to park the bus and make Switzerland work. Switzerland to win is the play but this won't be comfortable. Under 2.5 goals at around -120 given both teams' defensive solidity.
🇨🇦 Canada vs Qatar 🇶🇦 — 6:00 PM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
Canada -325, draw +475, Qatar +1000. Canada welcome Alphonso Davies back to the fold — possibly as a substitute initially — after a hamstring scare. They drew 1-1 with Bosnia and need a win to stay on track. Qatar drew 1-1 with Switzerland thanks to a last-minute own goal — a lucky result that has given them false hope. Canada should handle this at home in Vancouver. Canada to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -115 is the smart play — they have the attacking quality and the crowd behind them.
🇲🇽 Mexico vs South Korea 🇰🇷 — 9:00 PM ET, Estadio Akron, Guadalajara
The match of the day. Mexico +105, draw +230, South Korea +300. Mexico won their opener 2-0 over South Africa and have home advantage at altitude again. South Korea won 2-1 over Czechia thanks to Son Heung-min. This is the match that could effectively decide who tops Group A. Son is the X factor — he was brilliant in the opener and Mexico will need to contain him. Mexico at +105 represents genuine value for a home nation that has already proven they can score. This is a near coin-flip priced as an underdog at home — that's the bet of the day.
Best bet of the day: Mexico +105 at home vs South Korea. Altitude advantage, home crowd, and already proven in this tournament. Getting plus money on the host nation is rare value.
Best prop: Patrik Schick anytime scorer vs South Africa at +160. He's Czechia's entire attack and this is a must-win match for him to step up.

A fascinating day of football. Two heavyweight European nations open their campaigns and the theme from yesterday carries through — the big favorites are not rolling over opponents as easily as expected. Spain drew 0-0. That is the warning. Don't be too hasty laying big prices today.
🇵🇹 Portugal vs DR Congo 🇨🇩 — 1:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
Portugal -350 to -475, draw +475, DR Congo +900 to +1100. Cristiano Ronaldo opens his fifth World Cup — and possibly his last. Portugal have extraordinary depth with Bruno Fernandes, Rafael Leão, and Bernardo Silva alongside Ronaldo. But here's the Spain warning again — DR Congo conceded only six goals in 10 CAF qualifying matches. They are organized, disciplined, and will not be easily broken down. Portugal to win is the play but Under 2.5 goals at -130 to -140 is smarter than the clean ML at -350. Best prop: Ronaldo anytime scorer at +190 — the moment and the occasion demand it.
🏴 England vs Croatia 🇭🇷 — 4:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
England -138, Croatia +375, draw +280. England went eight qualifying games unbeaten, winning all eight, conceding zero goals. Under Tuchel they are defensively extraordinary. Croatia are the 2018 runners-up and always dangerous — Modric, Kovačić, Gvardiol — but Croatia are also 38-year-old Modric's last dance and time is catching up. England should win but Croatia will make it tight. England to win and Under 2.5 goals at around -115 is the sharpest play on the board today. Kane first goal scorer is always worth a look at +300.
🇬🇭 Ghana vs Panama 🇵🇦 — 7:00 PM ET, BMO Field, Toronto
Ghana slight favorites, Panama the underdog. Both teams are disciplined defensively — Ghana conceded six goals in CAF qualifying, Panama just four in CONCACAF. This match has Under written all over it. Under 2.5 goals at around -140 is today's most confident bet in terms of game script. Panama are making only their second World Cup appearance and will defend deep. Ghana to win at around +115 to +125 is fine value if you want to pick a side.
🇺🇿 Uzbekistan vs Colombia 🇨🇴 — 10:00 PM ET, Estadio Azteca, Mexico City
Colombia -250, Uzbekistan +750, draw +350. Colombia have James Rodríguez, Luis Díaz, and Cuadrado — a talented, experienced side. Uzbekistan are in their first World Cup ever and will be completely overwhelmed by the occasion and the quality. Colombia to win is the play. Colombia to win and Over 2.5 goals at around -110 makes good sense — they like to score and Uzbekistan will eventually tire defensively.
Best bet of the day: England to win and Under 2.5 goals vs Croatia at -115. Both teams are defensively excellent and this has 1-0 written all over it.
Best prop: Ronaldo anytime scorer vs DR Congo at +190. His last World Cup, Houston crowd, and Portugal need him to deliver.

Before we get to today — Spain drew their opener with Cape Verde. The tournament favorites dropped points on Day 5 and that means France are now the solo favorites to win the 2026 World Cup at +430. Keep that in mind as Les Bleus open tonight — there's pressure on them to perform and they have the squad to do exactly that.
🇫🇷 France vs Senegal 🇸🇳 — 3:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, New York/NJ
France are -209 to -220 favorites, Senegal +600, draw +350. France are now the outright World Cup favorites following Spain's draw and they have the squad to justify that — Mbappé, Griezmann, Camavinga, Tchouaméni. Senegal are no pushovers though. AFCON champions, ranked in the top 20 globally, built around Sadio Mané and a disciplined defensive block. Senegal held it tight against France in past meetings. The draw at +350 is live if you think Senegal park the bus and hit on the counter. France to win -209 is the safer play but not generous. Best prop: Mbappé anytime scorer around +150.
🇮🇶 Iraq vs Norway 🇳🇴 — 6:00 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Boston
The most lopsided match of the day. Norway -500, Iraq +1500, draw +650. Erling Haaland opens his World Cup campaign tonight and the entire world will be watching. Iraq are ranked outside the top 80 and have no business sharing a pitch with Haaland in this form. Norway to win is a given — the value play is Haaland anytime scorer at around -120. He scored 36 goals in the Premier League last season. He will score tonight. Norway to win and Over 2.5 goals around -160 is also solid.
🇦🇷 Argentina vs Algeria 🇩🇿 — 9:00 PM ET, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
The match everyone is watching tonight. The reigning World Cup champions open their defense. Argentina -250 to -264, Algeria +700 to +850, draw +375. Messi. In a World Cup. In Kansas City. The stadium will be electric. Algeria are a solid African side but this is a massive step up in quality. Argentina's only concern is complacency — they've been known to struggle in openers. Messi anytime scorer at +175 to +200 is the marquee prop of the tournament so far. Argentina to win is the play but wait for a live line — there could be early value if Algeria score first.
🇦🇹 Austria vs Jordan 🇯🇴 — 12:00 AM ET, Levi's Stadium, San Francisco
Austria -280 to -300, Jordan +700 to +800, draw +450. Austria are a well-organized, physically strong European side who qualified comfortably. Jordan are in their first World Cup ever — a historic achievement but a massive quality gap. Austria to win and Over 2.5 goals around -115 is the smart play. Don't overthink this one.
Best bet of the day: Haaland anytime scorer vs Iraq at -120. He scores for fun and Iraq are the weakest side he'll face all tournament.
Best value: Messi anytime scorer vs Algeria at +175 to +200. The moment will be right for him on opening night with the trophy to defend.

Four matches today and the theme is heavy favorites. Every single match has a team priced at -160 or shorter. When that happens the value isn't in the moneyline — it's in the props, the goals markets, and the team that gets underestimated. Let's dig in.
🇪🇸 Spain vs Cape Verde 🇨🇻 — 12:00 PM ET, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Spain are -900 to -1200 favorites. The reigning European champions and current World Cup favorites. Cape Verde are ranked outside the top 60 and are making just their third World Cup appearance. There is zero value on Spain's moneyline at that price. The play here is Spain to win and Over 3.5 goals around -130 to -150. Spain averaged 3.2 goals per game at Euro 2024. Pedri, Yamal, Morata — they will not hold back. Yamal first goal scorer is an interesting prop around +350.
🇧🇪 Belgium vs Egypt 🇪🇬 — 3:00 PM ET, Lumen Field, Seattle
Belgium -160 to -163, draw +280 to +315, Egypt +475 to +510. Egypt are built around Mohamed Salah — now 33 and still dangerous but not the player he was at Russia 2018. Belgium have Kevin De Bruyne pulling strings and Romelu Lukaku leading the line. Belgium should handle this but Salah is always one moment of magic away from changing a match. Belgium to win and Under 3.5 goals at around -115 is the sharp play — both defenses are solid and this won't be a shootout.
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia vs Uruguay 🇺🇾 — 6:00 PM ET, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami
This is the match of the day from a betting perspective. Uruguay -210 to -223, draw +333, Saudi Arabia +650. Uruguay have Darwin Nunez, Federico Valverde, and Rodrigo Bentancur. They are a genuine dark horse contender and -210 is actually not bad value for a team of their quality. Saudi Arabia shocked Argentina in 2022 but have regressed since. Uruguay to win is the most confident bet on today's board. If you want more juice — Uruguay to win and Over 2.5 goals around +105.
🇮🇷 Iran vs New Zealand 🇳🇿 — 9:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles
Iran -105 to -120, draw +240, New Zealand +350 to +375. The most evenly priced match of the day. Iran are ranked 20th in the world, New Zealand 101st — a much bigger gap than the lines suggest. Iran should win this comfortably. Iran ML at -120 is fine value. New Zealand will defend deep and look for a set piece — Under 2.5 goals at -130 to -148 makes sense here.
Best bet of the day: Uruguay ML -210. Darwin Nunez is a nightmare to defend and Saudi Arabia don't have the quality to contain him.
Best prop: Lamine Yamal first goal scorer vs Cape Verde +350. He's Spain's most dangerous attacker and will be given license to shoot.

Four more matches today and this is the most interesting day of the tournament so far from a betting perspective. Two genuinely competitive matchups sit alongside one walkover and one coin flip. Here's what I'm watching.
🇩🇪 Germany vs Curaçao 🇨🇼 — 1:00 PM ET, NRG Stadium, Houston
Germany open against Curaçao, ranked 89th in the world. Germany are -1600 to -2500 favorites depending on the book — so massive that there's no value on the win. Germany have been bounced in the group stage the last two World Cups though, so if you want to fade them, wait for a bigger match. Today the only question is margin. Germany to win and Over 3.5 goals is the play around -130. Expect a comfortable 4-0 or 5-0.
🇳🇱 Netherlands vs Japan 🇯🇵 — 4:00 PM ET, AT&T Stadium, Dallas
This is the match of the day. Netherlands +100, Japan +270, draw +260 at bet365. That's almost a coin flip between Netherlands and the draw. Japan have made it out of the group stage twice in a row and beat Germany and Spain in Qatar 2022. They are no pushover. Netherlands haven't been at their best recently but Virgil Van Dijk and Xavi Simons give them quality throughout. Japan +270 is enormous value if you believe in their ability to pull another giant-killing performance. This is the bet I'm most interested in today.
🇨🇮 Ivory Coast vs Ecuador 🇪🇨 — 7:00 PM ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
Ecuador are slight favorites at -137 to -145, Ivory Coast +260, draw +180. Ecuador are ranked 30th in the world, Ivory Coast 37th — genuinely close in quality. Draw at +180 is excellent value here. Both teams are evenly matched, both have something to prove, and neither can afford to lose their opener. This is a classic draw setup. Backing Ivory Coast at +260 is also tempting — they have Wilfried Zaha and Sebastian Haller up front.
🇸🇪 Sweden vs Tunisia 🇹🇳 — 10:00 PM ET, Estadio BBVA, Monterrey
Sweden are modest favorites at -118, draw +250, Tunisia +320. Sweden's first World Cup since 2018 and Alexander Isak is their biggest threat. Tunisia are disciplined defensively but lack quality going forward. Sweden to win is fine at -118 but the draw at +250 is where the value sits if you think Tunisia set up to frustrate.
Best bet of the day: Japan +270 vs Netherlands. They've done it before against bigger names. That price is too generous.
Value runner-up: Ivory Coast vs Ecuador draw at +180.

Before we get to today — USA 4, Paraguay 1. Let that sink in. Four goals. The host nation announced themselves in emphatic fashion at SoFi last night. The pressure is off and Pochettino's side look genuinely dangerous. Remember that number when the knockout bracket comes around.
Now to today. Four matches, and this is where the tournament really opens up.
🇶🇦 Qatar vs Switzerland 🇨🇭 — 3:00 PM ET, Levi's Stadium, San Francisco
The most lopsided match of the day. Switzerland are heavy favorites at -425 to -500. Qatar are +1200 to win outright. The smart play here isn't picking a winner — it's going Under 2.5 goals at around -120. Switzerland are defensively sound and Qatar will park the bus. Expect a professional 1-0 or 2-0 Swiss win.
🇧🇷 Brazil vs Morocco 🇲🇦 — 6:00 PM ET, MetLife Stadium, New York/NJ
The match of the day. Brazil -143 to -155, Morocco +400 to +510, draw +270 to +295. Morocco were the story of Qatar 2022, reaching the semi-finals and beating Spain and Portugal along the way. They have the defensive structure to frustrate anyone. Brazil haven't looked convincing in warmups. Morocco at +400 is genuinely tempting — this is not a 50-point gap in quality. Draw at +270 is the value play if you want to be conservative.
🇭🇹 Haiti vs Scotland 🏴 — 9:00 PM ET, Gillette Stadium, Boston
Scotland's first World Cup since 1998. Haiti are massive underdogs at +425 to +500. Scotland -175 to -188. The Tartan Army will be loud in Boston tonight. Scotland should handle this but World Cup openers are always nervy. Haiti draw no bet at +360 is intriguing value if you think Scotland struggle to break them down early.
🇦🇺 Australia vs Türkiye 🇹🇷 — 12:00 AM ET, BC Place, Vancouver
The late one. Türkiye are favorites at -135 to -145, Australia +400 to +420, draw +275 to +280. Türkiye are an underrated dark horse in this tournament — 8 wins in their last 10, drew with Spain in qualifying. Australia without Kerr are a different animal. Back Türkiye to win this one.
Best bet of the day: Brazil vs Morocco draw at +270. Morocco have the defensive quality to earn a point and this price is too generous given the evidence from 2022.

🇨🇦 Canada vs Bosnia & Herzegovina — 3:00 PM ET, BMO Field, Toronto
Canada open their first home World Cup in front of a sold-out BMO Field. Heavy favorites on most books — Bosnia are a tough defensive side though and won't roll over. Canada ML is -180 to -200 depending where you shop. Draw is live at +280.
🇺🇸 USA vs Paraguay — 9:00 PM ET, SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles
The big one. The host nation opens its World Cup campaign in front of 70,000 fans in LA.
Current lines:
🇺🇸 USA ML: -105 to +100 (this is remarkably close — books barely have USA as favorites)
🤝 Draw: +240 to +250
🇵🇾 Paraguay: +275 to +310
What makes this interesting: Paraguay's star player Julio Enciso is out injured. USA lost 5-2 to Belgium and 2-0 to Portugal in March warmups but bounced back with wins over Senegal and a respectable 2-1 loss to Germany. Host nations have won 16 of their last 23 opening World Cup matches.
The sharp angle: USA are barely favorites despite home advantage and Enciso being out. That +250 draw price is real value if you think Paraguay come to frustrate and park the bus for a point.
Best prop: Christian Pulisic anytime scorer +225. He's the captain, the moment will be right for him.
Good luck tonight 🇺🇸⚽
The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off today and I don't think it's possible to overstate what that means. 48 nations. 104 matches. 39 days. The entire world watching the same thing.
Mexico open at home at the Azteca — the first stadium to host three World Cup opening matches. The altitude, the crowd, the history. Mexico are rightfully heavy favorites at -230 to -260. Bet accordingly.
The late match — South Korea vs Czechia — is a genuine pick'em. +200 on the draw. Both teams unbeaten in warmups. Neither wants to lose their opener. I'm watching Son Heung-min closely — four World Cups, every one memorable.
My take: Mexico win 2-0. South Korea and Czechia draw 1-1. Both games go Under 2.5. But the beauty of the World Cup is that none of us actually know what happens next. That's the point.
Enjoy today. This is what we've been waiting for. ⚽🏆
